Loirae, We can't strike either so unions don't have that kind of leverage. I wouldn't want to strike, but I wish the public would appreciate the work we put in for their kids and pay us accordingly. People like your parents and I do it because we love working with kids, but it doesn't mean we like b...

Re: BACK TO SCHOOL

THEY HAVE MORE HOLS THAN WORK DAYS AND STILL COMPLAIN ABOUT PAY $$$$$ TRY MY JOB 4 A WHILE. I haven't commented much in the forums lately, but that quote just outright pissed me off. I am a high school Biology teacher. Yes, we get holidays off and summer vacation, but that doesn't mean we're not wo...

All I did was save the zip file to my desktop, then I opened it and did file, extract all. Used the browse function to find the RTWD directory and saved it there. Then I clicked "yes to all" when it asked to overwrite files. I'm not a computer whiz, but it worked so I hope it helps.

I may be a smoker, but I'm not a drinker. At least, not very often. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE to drink (margaritas are yummy!), but I decided when my stepson came to live with us that I didn't want him raised in a home where sitting around drinking beer was the norm. So we don't keep any type of al...

I was about to post my picture, but then I decided it would be more fun to wait until the next Picture Me competition you've all been talking about. I don't want to give it away! When is the next one anyhow?

Well... how to explain it? The first part (Met) you pronounce like "met" as in "We met yesterday". The second part (te) you pronounce like... try saying "the" without the "h", but keep the vocal sound. The preassure should be on the "Met" part. Mette Okay, let me get this straight. (I've just been ...
