Hehe, it will keep coming back until you reboot it, but you can drag the box out of view of the screen at the bottom of the task bar. This is very crude.

I know strictly speaking 1280x1024 is not a truly 4:3 display, but pretty pretty please can you include this in the new version :D

Did you set this option? See picture 2.

If that is not enough then change the option in picture 1 to increase the font size.

I don't use Classic, and it worked fine when I tried it out earlier. Icons increased in size yet the WIndows-XP style stayed the same.

I've got a Samsung SyncMaster 172v 17" TFT monitor which is set at 60hz and 1024 x 768 although it is capable of 1280 x 1024, but the icons are too small at the full resolution. I had to fiddle with the contrast and brightness quite a bit at first as it was too bright and that gave me headaches. I ...

I should add that if a game has no support for your native resolution (for example Wonderland Deluxe, for some unknown reason)has no support for my resolution 1280*1024, so If i run full screen the graphics are rubbish) then you might notice improvement by running games in windowed mode. Note: Runni...

Hey there, with all LCD (liquid crystal display) and TFT (thin film transistor) the refresh rate is irrelevant. Simply leave it at 60hz. Of course those of you with CRT monitors (the big fat ugly things!) should set your refresh rates as high as possible to avoid head aches! You should set your moni...

I'm getting Married!

Hey anyone/everyone. You probably dont remember me, I used to post levels. Anyway just a quick note to say I am engaged to a wonderful girl called Claire and thats why I don't have much time to make levels for games etc. I actually started work on my own game too but that has been postponed because ...

Thanx mate - I'm sure you know that scaling in TFT's produces undisired effects, in fact its recommended that every game etc is played at your native resolution. So my new shiny TFT canny cope captain! she just canny cope!

Any chance of a resolution of 1280*1024 being supported? pretty much standard on 19inch TFT monitors and any scaling down causes a real break down in the picture.

Thanx

Hey Gen, does your monitor support higher resolutions? playing games at 1024x768 or greater is so much better picture. But only use this setting if you have a good video card.

P.S try 32bit colours too if you can :)

Yep but WinZip9 has new archiving features which Windows will not be able to handle, without the new version. Windows XP Zip extractor is about 3 years old and doesn't have some of the new technology avalable in WinZip 9.

More than likely means you don't have the latest version of WinZip. Get Version 9 and it should work.

(This is massively out of date now, a more uptodate set has shipped with RTWD)
