Re: Pokemon

Yeah, I did. It's unfortunate, and I do hope other Pokemon from previous generations get added in an update, but it doesn't affect me much personally... Though I do sometimes - it can be fun to tune in to certain things like GDQ - I don't usually watch livestreams (Internet is BEYOND TERRIBLE here, ...

Re: Adventure #77: Wondertrolls

Interesting... I'll try and figure it out later; with Nintendo Tteehouse Live at E3 going on still I don't want to potentially miss something of interest.

Re: Adventure #77: Wondertrolls

It's the third room you come to (not counting that softlock near the beginning). It has the Wondertown music playing. I've figured out how to get 3 Brrs but I don't know how to hit the Fire button on the left across the ice (I'm 99% sure it's needed). The weird thing is that it was giving me an erro...

Double post, but...

I've tried everything I can think of in this room here. And I can't figure out what to do.

Edit: Uhhhhhh... Attached photo is giving me a yellow ! triangle next to status for some reason? How do I fix this?

I mean... That hint is something I already knew; as I said, I know how to get to the star, but... I'll take another look at it. Maybe I'll see something I didn't yesterday. Edit: OH. MY. GOSH. YOU SNEAKY STINKER! OF COURSE THE SOLUTION WAS RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE! HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THAT?!?!?! :stinky...

Re: Adventure #77: Wondertrolls

I'll see about possibly playing this one tomorrow if I remember, Kooky (hopefully the Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse @ E3 doesn't make forget to pay Wonderland a visit). Fair warning: As much as I love watching DGR and other YouTubers get trolled in Mario Maker, this will be the first time I...

Gimme a bit and I'll see if I can figure this one out Nasko. I need to install the Open Source version of the editor/player still... No guarantees I'll be able to, but if I can, I'll help you. Edit: Well, I WOULD try to, but the old adventure select menu MAV is getting me. I'll try something real qu...

Re: WA Editor Updates, Ideas & Suggestion Thread

Solution: Have objects that can be pushed cardinally (up, down, left, and right), and objects that can be pushed diagonally, with the visual difference being that diagonal-push objects are rotated °45. Alternatively, boulders could make sense from any direction because of how round they are, so if t...

Re: WA Editor Updates, Ideas & Suggestion Thread

Agreed, Pawelec, though I would like to say something while I'm thinking about it... I think implementing RTW mechanics like pushing boxes and such could be a cool addition to Adventures. It'd allow for even more elaborate puzzles. (Not that we really need RTW mechanics for that, since this is the W...

Re: WA Editor Updates, Ideas & Suggestion Thread

Or maybe just turn Blink Barrels specifically Purple. Also, I just had a crazy thought, but I'm not sure how well it would work... Blink Wraiths. Actually, wraiths of all magic types could be cool. But, you know, baby steps and all that; I don't even know if it's possible, and I also don't know the ...

Impressive, and against all odds, too! If it were me, I'd have just gone with the 3DS Virtual Console versions. Granted, doing so would probably require 2 systems for trading and such, but since they managed to emulate that with local wireless, it'd still be possible. Talk about Level 100 dedication...

There's also this, if RoberTime's solution doesn't work. It seems to have worked for several other users as well.

2. I would love to get the games running on consoles like the Nintendo Switch at some point after getting it ported to another engine as mentioned in Q1. I'm just going to put this out there now... If Midnight Synergy allowed the Wonderland series to be ported to Switch, I'D BUY IT IN A HEARTBEAT. ...

You don't need the Steel Boxes for the water. Find a spot in the lava for them.

Re: New Level: The Puzzle-Smith Rings Twice

I coooooould give you the answer, and if you REALLY want me to I will, but for now I'll give you another hint: You don't need to destroy all the boxes. There is a way to free two of them for use in the water, and from there the last two will be generated.

The thing is: It was more like a 4th file. I tried using a different anonymous file before (although I'd deleted it before making the new one) and it did glitch.

I didn't manually change any file names, no. I'm not 100% sure it was the first file I made (I've played through multiple times), but I do know it was the only one that wasn't deleted prior to him playing. It's so weird. Edit: Alright, so it just got weirder. Since my computer was right next to me (...

Interesting glitch in Return To Wonderland Platinum Edition

So, I have a 7 year old friend named Warren here with me (he and his parents are staying with me and my mom for a while), and he saw me playing RTW last night and wanted to play it today... So I made him a file and put him in the tutorial levels, whilst watching him play in case he needed help. For ...

Ohhhhhh boy, this one took me a while to figure out. 05 Hint #1: To be able to get all of the boxes, arrange them like in the attached screenshot. 05 Hint #2: I'm not really a fan of using fake walls to hide coins, required or optional. This level does that... Check the lower section once you've got...

04A Hint 1: You'll use two different starting conveyors. Once you've pushed all the boxes needed onto the first, push the rest onto the second.

04A Hint 2: Plasma boxes are useless to you here. Use them anytime the conveyors end in lava.

Re: How to change controls???

Yeah, they added support for it sometime last year. I've been using Antimicro though for this kinda thing because 1. Steam didn't have this feature when I started using it, and 2. Big Picture doesn't perform well on my laptop.

(If you want to use FinnThor's solution, Steam also supports the Switch Pro Controller. However, if memory serves correctly, it only works if Steam is in Big Picture Mode.)

Re: How to change controls???

Hmm... I don't know much about hotkeys, but if you have a controller with a D-Pad, you COULD use that with the right software... You'd still be better off using a mouse for magic though. If you decide to do that, I suggest using Antimicro.
