It possibly could also mean that the level file is corrupted or not actually a level file. Is what you downloaded a *.lev file? Is it just a few kb big? Make sure you actually saved the actual level file and not e.g. the page that contained the level or the "LEV" image file.

Adventure Land 1 and 2

Adventure Land (Parts 1 and 2) This level pack contains the original Adventure Land level as well as its sequel, Adventure Land 2: Dynamite Joe (which comes in several smaller parts, as well as one huge version), created by Robbie. These levels mix Wonderland puzzle action with a Zelda-like adventu...

My god, it's huge!!!!! I'm almost afraid to play it! I've posted an Adventure Land 1 and 2 Level Pack. This also includes the original Adventure Land, for completeness' sake. This large version really does push the boundaries of level size, so you might experience slowdowns on older computer...

Re: (To the site admins, about the contest)

To the site admins: I'm just wondering how careless mistakes would affect the way a level is judged. It really depends, I think your description really sums it up. One silly and easily fixable mistake would not have much of an impact, whereas a level that simply doesn't work would have little chang...

Just two additions: 1. Re: Inventiveness. While it is great to create a "Wonderland Style" homage to other puzzle game levels, any designs for the competition should be entirely your own. 2. Just in case, let me also state that we will not be responsible for any possible effect that this competition...

If you have 5 levels or more that you feel would make a nice pack (e.g. fit together thematically) then just e-mail us at our "infos" e-mail with the level names and a quick description and name for the pack. (If these are brand new levels then please post each level separately in the Levels forum f...

Just FYI: Another way is to save your image as .jpg (rather than .bmp). The resulting file size is much smaller. See the attached. (Although I would recommend keeping picture posting to a minimum. their size can - I think - slow down the board quicker than just level attachments - which are tiny - e...

Yes, there are other limitations - the engine will only keep track of 100 types of each kind of object (which also counts cannons and break-away tiles). So if you e.g. have more than 100 Pillars (which counts Trees and Mushrooms), the logic routines will not keep track of the remainder which leaves ...

I have not given, or sold the game to anyone. It is being used by many different people on my 2 computers at school, and at my home. I have completed all of the levels in RTW, with the help of my middle school students. I wasn't sure how to respond to this, but please be careful of copyright and piracy for Wonderland. (not implying that you aren't, but I thought I'd point out a few things just in case) Your download is a single-...

As for avatars (the little pics under a name), we decided against them to keep (a) the board bandwidth costs reasonable, and (b) avoid some of the problems that they can cause... sure some avatars are fun, but they can be quite inappropriate sometimes and are very open to abuse.

Very neat level - I didn't think it was possible at first. But I was happily proven wrong. You guys (all of you) really like those fake walls, though! :!: We just put them in as an after-thought, and used them on very few levels - I didn't do a count but I think fake walls appear in 80% or more of t...

One suggestion: does your keyboard have a Num-Lock key? If so, try toggling it on/off - you might have your numpad keys disabled.

Just make sure it is in the Players directory - Wonderland will be able to read those files. If you created a new Player under the same name in the meantime, the old file would have been renamed to name.bak (from name.pla). You could try renaming it back to name.pla - hopefully the old data hasn't b...

Check you C: directory very carefully - the patch doesn't touch any of your player files, so your *.pla file should still be around hopefully.

Hi there, you actually die if you are in motion and collide with a box in motion. Since the box goes around the corner it will move perpendicular to your own direction - hence the collision. [BTW, would you mind if we changed your login name - just to avoid confusion with the "official" Stinky and L...

Hi Magic1, very neat level - well done. Since you used the "steep walls" (the black boxes with the brown "X") I thought I'd just point out how to best use them: Rather than just putting a line of them at the "south" side of the islands, fill everything that is currently black with the "x" tiles, and...

Hi Sharon, just to double-check... you left-click on the "Download" button (just underneath the LEV image in body of the post)? Maybe try right-clicking on it and then selecting "Save Target As...". (and in Win98 you might need to select "Rename" rather than "Properties" in order to rename the file)...
