Yes, gameboy WA has an editor also.
The link I posted when you were having problems before also tells how to unzip and do the textures.
You don't specify if your having troubles unzippin them or you just don't know where to put them.
This link is to mette's page where she has all the levels she updates once a month, here you will also find links to tutorials and all sorts of neat stuff she has posted to help us nutters.

If you have windows xp it contains a built in unzipper for .zip files. If you go thru Mette's tutorial she explains how to unzip them and where they need to go, complete with pics.

No offense, everyone, but since no one has given me advice that I don't already know about, I kinda forgot that I posted this topic.
Well, that and the fact that I don't use the forum very much unless I have issues, 'cause I usually like playing the games themselves! I like them SO much that I can't sleep at night, wondering what the next game will be! (If you haven't already heard, check Midnight's most recent post. )

So what's the problem then?gameboy991 wrote:Yes I am pretty sure I do.
BTW, I also agree with what the other people said about posting lots of level at once in one topic. And when you're then away from the forum and come back about a month or so, don't be surprised when there are not much comments on your levels. Of course you're free to do so, but I think, if you do like most other levelmaker:
- Posting 1 or 2 levels each week,
- Each level in a new topic,
- Let your username be part of the filenames of your levels,
in general you can expect more comments on your levels.
About forgetting this topic, you can set in your profile that you get a notification email when someone posts on a topic where you posted before.
Again; you free to do whatever you want. This is just a free advise. Take it or leave it.

You read that topic too, huh?
I think I'll leave it. I'll have to recreate the levels all over again. (even though the only detail to change would be the filename) Please post stuff like this in the actual topic next time, please!
I said I was having trouble with the unzipping thing. I unzip, but it doesn't register in the game.

When you unzip custom textures, check inside the new folder that's been created, because a lot of the time there's a folder in there as well. You need to move that folder out into the main texture folder. It'll overwrite the other folder, and now you'll be able to use that texture.gameboy991 wrote:I said I was having trouble with the unzipping thing. I unzip, but it doesn't register in the game.

Who cares?gameboy991 wrote: Please post stuff like this in the actual topic next time, please!
First you said you can't download them, now you say you have problems with unzipping, but when I asked if you have them in the apropriate folder like on my screenshot, you say yes. If that's true, you have downloaded, and unzipped them correctly. So please tell more clear what you mean.I said I was having trouble with the unzipping thing. I unzip, but it doesn't register in the game.

So if I'm right, you can download them, you can unzip them correctly, and you're sure you have them in the right folder. But it does not work.
So what happens if you make a level with, for examle, the Battycastle texture, you have the Battycastle texture in the folder as shown in my screenshot, and you load the level?

Well, if there's a bug in the software I don't know much about, but maybe you can try to re-install the game. Also you can upgrade to the newest version of RTW, then you shouldn't get error-messages when there's a missing texture.

I don't think so, but to be sure you always can move the subfolders (Customlevels, textures, etc. and players) temporarely somewhere else, or make a backup of them.gameboy991 wrote:If I re-install the game, wouldn't I lose my progress?
Gameboy wrote:And besides, I already have the Platinum version.
Do you mean you have already version 3.01 ? And you still get messages when a texture is missing?MS site wrote:You must be a registered owner of Return To Wonderland Deluxe Edition (v2.0x) or Platinum Edition (v3.0x), or this update will not function.
......
Please check your version number first.
If you already have v3.01 you do not need to install this update.

If you mean with the progress the playersfolder (which levels you played etc.) and the other folders with custom stuff, it's supposed to stay as it was. But, of course, I can't give you 100% garantee. It's always possible something goes wrong, so it's a good idea to make a backup.gameboy991 wrote:Would updating my version result in deleting my progress, or will it keep my progress when I re-enter the game?
