I know that, but he said right in the first post that he would post a picture every week.jdl wrote:Just because you're developing a game doesn't mean you have to post pictures all the time.MyNameIsKooky wrote:If he was, he'd have something to show by now.gameboy991 wrote:I never said he wasn't working on it.
We've already gone over this...jdl wrote:because he hasn't gotten the time for it

Has anyone thought about the actual company? This is highly unlikely, but remember how Patrick said that the company was mostly just a group of people making a game and he traveled all over the place?
What if the company's in trouble financially-wise? I doubt that it's Patrick doing the level design, graphics, modelling, etc. all by himself, so what if other people have been having life issues?

A while back, Patrick said he was the "one-man band" behind Midnight Synergy. I think that the "traveling around the world" thing was a joke, along with his employees inhaling helium to perform the voices of Stinky and Loof.~xpr'd~ wrote:Has anyone thought about the actual company? I'm guessing that GML would be eazyer to bugfix with. -nothing-MyNameIsKooky wrote:And your point is...?tyteen4a03 wrote:GML is a bit easier than PHP, and PHP is one of the easiest language in the programming language field.Master Wonder Mage wrote:Besides, Game Maker is not as hard as a "real" programming language.
Edit:Eazyer, not eazy. Don't be offended by that. :3

So basically Master Wonder Mage was trying to say it would take Midnight Synergy several weeks to fix a single bug. derpboywhoflies wrote:I'm guessing that GML would be eazyer to bugfix with.

It's a joke. Patrick's an indie dev.~xpr'd~ wrote:Has anyone thought about the actual company? This is highly unlikely, but remember how Patrick said that the company was mostly just a group of people making a game and he traveled all over the place?

In that case, might I remind you all of this?~xpr'd~ wrote:Even if it was just him, at least 21% of my point remains valid. x3
I just bought MOFI recently, and $6.99 (in U.S. dollars) isn't a whole lot.gameboy991 wrote:Here's an idea: Has anyone considered a fund raiser of some sort???
Obviously, if Patrick is only making $7 each time a game is sold, and a relatively low number of people know about Wonderland, what are the chances MS's funding will fall short if it hasn't already?
Pretty high, I assume.

People say Earthbound is SOO underrated. While I agree to SOME extent, but now it's so underrated that it's overrated - It's almost a meme itself.gameboy991 wrote:As I said, only a considerably low number of people know about Wonderland, let alone play the games.
If ANY game needs help, it is, as you said, Wonderland.
Which is why I am working on a WA LP, and soon, AND a Earthbound LP.

Nor is it necessarily the amount of time needed to have obscene amounts of progress. I learned that with AODD. 365 days cannot finish a huge game.Emerald141 wrote:365 days is an extremely long time to keep a project on hold, and there comes a point when the 'too busy' assumption just starts looking naive. Not to be a pessimist, but I think we passed that point a few months back, so unless Patrick or someone he knows has contracted a serious illness, I think we can assume that he's choosing not to work on WA3.
How the heck did MNIK finish FOUR games in 365 days? Because his games are shorter than WA games or my original plans for AODD. ET5 should take about 365 days, and hopefully he won't get stuck for that long.

No one ever said anything about WA3 being finished in only 365 days. It's just that there's been no evidence of any progress for 365 days.DEEMAN223344 wrote:Nor is it necessarily the amount of time needed to have obscene amounts of progress. Yes. I am a man of idioms and metaphors, yet no-one on here ever understands me.tyteen4a03 wrote:It is related to the idiom of "Rome was not built in a day."MyNameIsKooky wrote:No one ever said anything about WA3 being finished in only 365 days.
