I had to play your easier version.

When I walk away from the game it takes me a bit to get back into the swing of things, so once I practice up I'll try your demon step tile version

I made it slightly differently, using the initial effect of the box on the pink timer, so if I rush to the pink button at the very start, the gate remains open.

It was extremely difficult with good timing required.
