Hidden Agenda

This puzzle is for Amadeus, who inspired it with the unique "Deception" level.

Enjoy!

I have completed #! and #2. Two different methods.... #2 may be a bit more of a challenge to find a way to start.
Both are excellent and great fun to figure out.
No clues from me

Thanks.

Brentnor,

A most brilliant level, to say the least!

I cannot claim to have completed #1, so I don't expect a trophy, but the
satisfaction of finally completing this level (#2) is trophy enough for me!

You have an excellent mind for puzzle making, this ranks up there with
your best. How many of us that first started playing this one has said:
"No way! It can't be done!" I'm on that list. What a puzzle it was. It
was worth it.

Thank you, for your kind words.

You also win the "Brentnor Bow-Wow" Trophey of Excellence!

Now, I'm wondering what comes after Sheep and Goats?
Pigs, perhaps?

I didn't know you could do that with a cannon.

Thanks for the hints.

There is a clue dialogue in front of the cannon that mentions "fire".

The secret is to douse the six flames surrounding the lava pool.
Then you will need to extinguish one more flame for the cannon to work.

Thanks for the hint Amadeus, but that still doesn't help me. Still can't figure out how to get to any of the rainbow coins. Thanks anyway though, I think I need to move on from this one.

:D :D :D Hi Brentnor, Its been over a year since you posted this mystifying level, I have played it now and again racking my brain trying to unlock its secrets,   Well today I finally cracked it, I tried something I just didn't even consider and wow what a difference one little move can make, It took some good team work between two old friends, it was such a good feeling to finally walk into the exit, Better late than never, Only one Brentnor mystery level to go, It might take me another year for that one. Take care Mr Puzzle Smith. :D :D :D

I know this is years old, but it's one of the puzzles I just could never crack. I can get the cannon fired up and open the teleporter on Stinky's side, but nothing else.

Can someone remember how this was done? Or figure it out again?

Thanks,
JB

I vaguely remember that you had to use the reflector to eliminate the flames around the lava then use it to blow the box on the lower left. I think Loof sends the boulder left and up that starts the cannon, then Loof stands by the exit. To shoot the box on the lower left you need to collect one bonus coin.

Best I can for now, maybe it will help. I'll try the level later when I get a chance. :D

Thanks, bob.

I think your memory is pretty good. I did use the reflector to quench the 6 flames around the lava and got Loof to take out the one by him with the boulder left and up. Cannon started. Stinky grabs lower bonus coin to make way for blasting the box over his teleporter after putting the reflector where it needs to be. But then, I am totally oblivious....and thinking that this must have been very obvious to everyone else. :?

Any help much appreciated.

I think I played this level about a year ago, but for some reason I didn't comment. Today I played it again, and it was again a great challenge. Thanks! :D

This is how I played it, continueing from what Bob described:
2. Stinky pushes reflector L through lower TP but he steps D through TP, pushing box D. Then he goes back U through upper TP, pushing other box in water, and L through lower TP pushing reflector L

3. Loof pushes box L. Together they push reflector over conveyor to lower area, out of the way, and box also to lower area.

4. Box goes between boulder and cannon U in water. Boulder R, 3D (reflector stops boulder) and L.

5. Reflector directly left of "There must be another way..."-sign, Loof on sign, and Stinky below boulder. Now quickly with right timing Stinky pushes boulder U on conveyor, and Loof pushes reflector L, to stop boulder on its way back down.

6. Boulder R to destroy 4 boxes, then D in lava. Use steelbox, reflector and 2 remaining woodboxes to complete the bridge to the island, collect (bonus)coins and exit.
But.... I have to admit: If "Fortune Cookie" is right, I'm not truly victorious.
