cant get stinker in peril

hi! is there a way to skip a level i have 17 stars but cant skip?? :?:

If you want, you can abort the adventure and try diffeent levels, then come back to this one.

Run into the gate outside that room, it wants 14 coins, run into it again and it will let you through. That got me too.
