I'm not giving the title of this level so I don't spoil it for those who haven't got there yet, those who have will know what I mean.
When I saw it I thought what a lovely gesture, it brought tears to my eyes to tell you the truth.
Then I tried playing it ...... and it brought more than tears to my eyes!
It's a
level.
There's always one chomper that goes round the other way instead of following you, so you end up with them at either side and nowhere to go. Can't get to a bridge to escape.
Is there any way to do this one at all?

Out of the 4 I have got left to do right at the back, I have only managed to do the one second from right, still working on the one furtherst to the left, but have now stopped for lunch.
ps - why would the name of it give something away?

Bit of a hint this on how I managed the level
I found this easier to complete if you find a way to get rid of chompers, with careful timing the chompers can be picked off one at a time so you only have to worry about one at a time.

How do you manage that then, you can't get onto the island until you've got all the coins. Is it possible to...
lure them onto a bridge just as you're getting off it?

PS: I took care of the chomps the way benemily described. Save! Save! Save!

There is an easier way, if you are smooth with your actions (so to speak!)
HUGE Hint:
Get rid of all but the bottom island as you're clearing the wall gems. Then start bottom left, and go clockwise around, in and out to collect the tokens, and then up the island at the bottom.
Easy peasy!
I loved these retro levels - they strained the brain a little, but not too much! A nice reward for digging the orbs out of some pretty obscure places!

There's a way to prevent that from happening:
Leave one gem uncollected until late during your run with the chompers--make that gem and the coin near it be the last things you collect. The uncollected gem will block the chompers from trying to go the other way to sandwich you.

Finally made it to the last retro level and what a sweet gesture.
Very touching...
I really like the retro levels, there are some brilliant puzzles there.
Hard but brilliant!
