Team Fortress 2 (If you want a fun and cartoony [but somewhat bloody] online shooter.)
Garry's Mod/Gmod (If you just want to mess around.)
Amnesia: The Dark Descent (If you want to piss your pants, or if you just want to throw chairs around and break stuff. Creating custom levels is easy once you get the hang of it. It's my most favorite Steam game.)

Yep, I've gone through both Portals. 
I also have TF2.
I could check out Garry's Mod, heard a lot of good stuff about it.
NO WAY I'M GETTING AMNESIA. If I get a little too paranoid exploring caves in Minecraft and jump at every single sound, I can't imagine how jumpy I'll be in Amnesia.
