I myself am not actually into pop, but here's a song that's done by a group that does pop music(though I doubt the song is pop).

It's a bit saddening, and includes that h word in one line to a similar extent to that other song I posted earlier by the silly guy.

Here it is.

Double post, but here's another rather silly and nice little song that I've all so found on several gaming videos.

But... only if you want to hear the thing, you don't have to.

llarson ^ gave me a link to this via steam, and it's really probably one of my favored melodies.

Here it is!

For some reason, I think of some strange, happy fluff balls that troll humans...
I wonder if that's based off of something. :|

Sometimes Zun's music is based off of melodies.

Examples include: Septtete for the Dead Princess being based off a Beethoven song

Native Faith being based off of Boss 6 from nightstriker

and there's probably more but I forget.

I am a Touhou Fan aren't I?

Primus -- Pure Imagination
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab7jGl8dgRo

If you're familiar with this song from the 1971 "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" film, you're in for a surprise. This cover brings back Roald Dahl's darker, more menacing elements in all their glory. The basic melody is the same, but with added parts and a different arrangement it's astounding how different the overall feel is. Primus are awesome.

Why did I decide to this again?

It's probably my favorite melody in this genre - whatever it'd be.

Here are some melodies I like that were created from Kevin Macleod; Yes, the same guy who made The Cannery and Gaslamp Funworks.

Fig Leaf Rag
Fig Leaf Times Two
Looking Busy
Batty McFaddin(slower)
Mister Exposition
Gold Rush
Cattails

I hope you enjoy.

I really liked that song too.

So peaceful for the first half, and then somehow amazingly amusing in the second.

Yeah, those Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics are tragic...

"Mama, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Too late, my time has come,
Sent shivers down my spine,
Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.
"

I'll not play that much, I'll get depressed. Image

A river of dreams...
A song to which I've liked since being younger. :D

I think I might make an adventure after this, involving lava.

Edit: A few weeks later, I did;
no lava involved, though. Just rainbow bubbles.
Close enough to Plutonia either way. ;)

This is a fascinating song in Russian that has a certain element, slightly later on, that is unlike anything I've quite heard before.

It's one of the few videos I've clicked like on that wasn't a Wonderland level all month. :D

So, yes, about this being a quadrupal post...

since I don't have any one favored music, I feel like sharing melodies is more of a good way for one to figure out what from Pluto I listen to. :P

However, this will probably be my last post in this topic, especially if I actually am the last person to post here. :?

One is this peaceful melody I found while looking up vibraphones.

This other one is a guy who can play Nyan Cat, and gets a good hold past 2 minutes and gets pretty amazing past 4. :P

I think I already have posted like twice on this topic, but my favourite type of music is video game music, I mostly prefer hard/action music over super calm music, my favourites would be:
-Sonic 06 Solaris Phase 2
-Legend of Zelda Link to the Past/between worlds Dark World Theme
-Pokémon X/Y Lysandre battle
-Super Mario 3D world World bowser theme
-Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire team Magma/Aqua leader battle
-Smash Bros 3DS theme
-Mega Man 2 dr.wily stage part 1
-Mega Man 2 Flash man
Well, these are some of my favourite tracks in video games. :D I used to listen to "regular" songs, but nowadays I hate them.

This has probably been mentioned earlier in the topic but I'm starting to listen to Pink Floyd now, along with Rolling Stones...

I mean things like this are awesome:

Brain Damage by Pink Floyd- This one I find rather...depressing. This is their tribute song to a certain band member that had a horrible thing happen to him :( (I will not say what as it MAY be a bit too...inappropriate for this forum...all I can say is it caused him to go insane)

Jumping Jack Flash by The Rolling Stones- I love the beat in this, I also like how it seems to be talking about a certain somebodies life (It was one of the band members lives IIRC?)

Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd- Quite clearly the first Pink Floyd song I heard....I like how it's talking about strict teachers in general...TBH this reminds me of Matilda XD

Is there anybody out there? by Pink Floyd- To be frank the effect they used during the *ahem* ONLY SPEAKING LINE was epic. Ironically it sorta captures the....feeling that we have never met anything ET and just gives off the feeling of.....loneness.

Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones- THE SAXOPHOOOOOOONE.

(also TBH I DO listen to a LOT of songs by various artists...I heard the Pink Floyd songs just within this past hour and I love them already, The Rolling Stones songs have been favorites of mine for a while)

Also RANDOM FAVORITE:
Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye - I love how Gotye brings in another singer to sing a duet with him, I also like the...interesting instrument choice used for this song as well as how his voice manages to convey the power of the situation.

Actually I love the Oldies music (I mean the old good music) from the 80s and 90s.
That music was extremely amazing and you always had the desire to dance and have fun.
Oh my...What a nice good old days was...!!!
Everyone had fun everywhere these days!
Oh my..What beautiful memories.

I recently watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-along blog, and that was incredible. It would probably be rated PG-13 for language, but if you're fine with that, go look it up on YouTube. It will be 40 minutes of your life well spent.

Crypt of the NecroDancer - Zone 3-1

There are actually two versions of this song that both play at the same time in-game. One version plays in one area and to another area the music transitions to the other version in the same position it's playing. So in an ice area it feels Icy and in a fire area it changes to a Fire theme. It's really awesome. The music also fits well with the zone's themes. I love the idea of fire and ice.

(The Fire version was different and less thrilling in an early early version of CotN)

Mm, yes, another cluster of related albeit different melodies to which I like
are those in Ori and the Blind Forest.

Though, the music really is pronounced once it's matched up with...
well, the art... and the animation... and especially the story...

Oh, can't say much more - I've posted about it too much on here and youtube.
