OMG I'm not the only one here to play SA! :D
A few days ago I used a glich to get Tails in Emerald Coast. Lawl.

On topic, the Zero battle music is epic. IDK if you guys noticed, but that's the song that plays when you fight the first boss in WBA.

It sounds like a combination of chase scene music, old Dizzy games and something from Safrosoft RoX, but more epic.

Gyakuten Kenji 2 - Pursuit ~ Wanting to Find the Truth 2011

Capcom seemingly always has awesome music, but this... This almost blows Trials and Tribulations' soundtrack out of the water.

Makes me wish they'd localize GK2. :(

This is just a tiny part of my downloaded collection, which
is over 1400 albums (folders) of music,

amounting to about 40,000 mp3s ≈ 150 Gigabytes,
and ~50 audiobooks too.

About half of all my music collection I downloaded from
Internet Archives:: http://www.archive.org/
and the others I don't remember from where.

If I were to list it all here, then I'd collapse from exhaustion.

I'm supposed to be sleeping right now to wake up to school in better shape but I HAD to post this:

Yousei Teikoku -- Mischievous of Alice
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENHmuUSMH6M

THAT is what I was seeking in metal all along -- just the right combination of melody and brutality, light and darkness, guitars and orchestra for a sympho-metal arrangement. That chorus is just so awesome!

Van Canto -- To Sing a Metal Song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrtXkik0ey0
The song is shorter than the video, the rest is just silence... but this is the best audio quality I found on YouTube and Van Canto deserves all the sound quality they can get.

LISTEN TO THE CROWD AROUND ME, THEY WILL TEACH YOU TO SING A METAL SONG!

In Capetown's Port

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBhyCsEzcKo

The melody originally was in some Yiddish song for a Yiddish musical, different lyrics. Then Russia created its own "pirate" text and then people made their versions of that text and lots of arrangements. This is the coolest version of the song along with a hilarious (if you know the Russian lyrics) Transformers G1 clip. Anyway, this is my favorite version of the song.

Yuki Kajiura (feat. Eri Itou) -- Prove Yourself
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOP0AAb_R0s

I do not have words in my dictionary to express how good this song is.

Shame there's no English translation for the lyrics -- actually there can't be, for it's not Japanese (even though the composer is Japanese), it's actually a made-up language that only Kajiura herself knows. Fans call it "Kajiuran" and translations do not exist. No one knows whether the words have any meaning or are made up purely on the basis of phonetics to express certain kinds of emotion.

Anyway, that totally doesn't matter one bit, as the song is so good and the choir SO AMAZING.

Otto Dix -- Железный Прут (Iron Rod)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO8W7FDHdSs

A darkwave Russian band. Very stupid, but very epic. Why stupid: the lyrics are supposed to be dark, depressing and adult-themed... but they are about nothing and only pretend to be deep... and they are badly written, too -- to the point of self-contradictions within a single song! Why epic: their music composer and keyboard player IS A GODDAMN GENIUS. This pattern applies to... basically all of their songs.

The lyrics in this song are as stupid, pompous and pretentious as ever, but ignore them (especially easy for you because you don't know Russian) and what you have is AMAZING electronic battle music that reminds me of super angry boss fights from epically hard video games. Or something else like that.

Either way, the lyrics are stupid, but the music is great.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
