Goodbye, My Friend

It's with a heavy heart that I heard the news today of my good friend's passing. Marinus Palland was a beloved member of our forum and will be missed.

I remember responding to Marinus' posts occasionally when I was making levels for Return to Wonderland, although I never got to know him very well.
Hopefully he has a good place in heaven.

In her email, his sister did not say what happened, only that he died last year.

Oh god, that's terrible news. I only saw some of Marinus's posts when I randomly browsed the RTW forum, but he seemed like a great guy.
Rest in Peace, and if there is Paradise somewhere... I hope you're there.

Yes, he was. I still enjoy his wonderful, witty sense of humor (which is so much more merciful and elegant than mine) and deeply respect his way of thinking.
At times I felt like we were strange minds that thought alike, since we could easily understand each other, but whenever we were on the same track of thought, he was one step ahead.

Those are horrible news. I don't know him/her (I saw some of his posts a while ago, but nothing else) But (s)he must have been a great fellow. (S)He will be missed.
