When I said I thought it was obvious I meant you can see what you have to do. You can see plainly that they have to go seperate ways, and the maze is straightforward, there are no passages where you can get 'lost'.
No part of the maze is particularly difficult. Getting all the parts together in one go might be a bit frustrating. Most of the time it's just timing that's needed, and a bit of bravery.
There are a lot of cannons in there, granted, but they all fire at the same time not randomly, and you can count the time between them. I made sure there was plenty of time to get where you need to be between them. The same goes for the timer buttons and gates.
You can make the UFO part easy or hard, depending on how you go about it. Getting through the red gates is simple if you make sure the UFO is as far away as possible before you go. If you're lucky you can catch it in the gate as it's closing. If you're not brave enough for that you can just leave it going back and forth while making sure you don't stand in line with it. Like I said before, you have to stand around waiting for the right moment to move a lot of the time. If you leave the coin in the hedge for the last person to pick up, the UFO will be safely trapped until you are ready to exit.
I'm sorry you hate the level but you can't please everyone. You can always cheat it if it really gets on your nerves.
