Stinkers: Boys, Girls
Ok, in one of Lillie's levels, people were complaining which Stinkers were he's and which Stinkers were she's. Here is what I think:
Stinky: Boy
Loof: Boy
Qookie: Girl
Peegue: Boy
What do you think?
Here are the statistics so far: (including me)
Boys:
Stinky: 14
Loof: 13
Qookie: 4
Peegue: 14
Girls:
Stinky: 0
Loof: 1
Qookie: 10
Peegue: 0
Stinky: Boy
Loof: Boy
Qookie: Girl
Peegue: Boy

Yep I think they are all boys too. Although picking on Kiki about Loof is just plain fun
Oh and here's the thread http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14286
MS, Patrick? Care to clue us in on the true identity (cuz "gender" sounds just too odd) of the characters?

I don't think that Patrick is telling or else he doesn't know! See the following:rescuefire wrote:MS, Patrick? Care to clue us in on the true identity

My vote is:
Stinky - Boy
Loof - boy
Qookie - girl
Peegue - boy
I knew this had been discussed before. I enjoyed reading the 3rd link, ya'all crack me up. Lillie, I can't believe you've never heard the term 'stud muffin'. It's one of those endearing things we call our hubby's to make them feel better.......
I always thought they were all little boys, really still do, maybe if Quookie had pigtails. I just call them critters. Nothing gender specific since they all run around in nothing but hats and tennis shoes. Little lost boys.

OK! Stinky is the main man of course, The fearless leader always willing to put himself in harms way to free his friends.ILW wrote:Can I have what you think of Stinky and Peegue Kiki?
Peegue is the politician of the group but not afraid to get his hands dirty.
Qookie is a girl but don't let that fool you, She is one tough cookie, No pun intended.
Loof is my favourite, He is the smallest but no push over, Always feels like he needs to prove himself to the others so as a result works twice as hard.
Keeks
I have always thought:
Stinky: male
Loof: female
Qookie: female
Peegue: male
And I have always been rather surprised that it seems to be the consensus on the forums that Loof is male.
I distinctly remember thinking of Stinky as male and Loof as female when playing the original Wonderland game. Perhaps this is because Stinky seems quite obviously male and, in comparison, Loof is shorter and has more elaborate clothing (the hat). In addition, I would generally have expected there to be at least one male and one female character simply for balance.
It might be the case that in RTW Deluxe, with the extra characters, it seems less necessary for Stinky and Loof to be one male and one female, since Qookie is seen as female. Also, it may be the case that the genders of the characters are sufficiently undetermined in the game that people seeing the forums and custom levels without having already formed an opinion will tend to go along with the consensus of the forums.
I did not play RTW until over 3 years after I first played Wonderland, and I did not play Secret Worlds or visit the forums for another 2 years, and still haven't played very many custom levels. So I had plenty of time to strengthen my own views before being exposed to the idea that Loof might be male.
So I think it would be interesting to see which level sets the people with the different views have played the most; in particular, original Wonderland and RTW Classic versus RTW Deluxe onwards.

Hmm that theory may be correct in some cases. Good points.
I've played em all and still think they are all boys (cuz Kiki insists that Loof is a boy)
I have changed the way I comment about the characters though. Instead of "the boys all got out" I'll type something like "the gang all got out" and instead of he or she I just use the characters name.
I guess it's all what is our all of our weird little brains. Doesn't matter who is what or what not just that this game is awesome!
