There's already an orange magic! It's called POW. It can destroy monsters, objects, blocks of ice, and even stinkers!jdl wrote:Here's one for WA. Orange glove power! You hit a enemy with it and it copies its DNA and the next time you shoot it, (not on another enemy. That would change the DNA!) it makes that enemy! I call it: "generator!"

I have some ideas! Though they may be pretty stupid, I think it's fun and funny to make these!
Some of these ideas may have been thought of before, but I don't feel like reading the entire topic right now.
Link Boxes: Like link spheres but linked boxes!
Big Acorn: An acorn that got huge for some reason. You can roll it like a boulder. It will break on impact with boxes, even wooden ones, though it will break that box too. It also floats one water!
Metal Sphere: It acts like a boulder, except it can break through metal boxes (!) and roll into lava (it doesn't float).
Spherical Bomb: You can roll it like a boulder, but blows up like a Kaboom! if it hits anything. It doesn't float.
Box Bomb: A fuse will start to burn when you start pushing it. It will blow up if it touches anything or runs out of fuse. You can set the amount of time it has in the editor from 15 minutes ( ) to 1 second! It does not float.
Cake Box: This is a delicious cake! You can push it like a box and it will float. Only Loof can push it, because the rest of the gang is big enough to eat it! All enemies - except Z-Bots and UFOs because they are mechanical - may also eat it upon contact. It is all down to Loof to save his cake, and, well... Use it as a bridge across some water!
Wooden Chomper: It acts like a wooden box. You can push it around, and it will float. It will sleep, and every once and a while, it will open its eyes and take a peek around. If you push it while its eyes are open, it will bite you! You can set how long its eyes will stay open and closed in the editor.
AHHH SOO MANY WORDS! I'll post more ideas later! Don't worry, I'll make it funny next time.

I have an idea for WA 3
I think instead of coloured shards in WA 1 and coloured glyphs in WA 2, it should have coloured suits.
The blue suit would be the z-bot, the indigo would be the kaboom, green would be the pushable scouges, etc.
Wearing different suits could open up more adventures. For example, if you wear a kaboom suit in a z-bot place, a z-bot might ask you to clean up his metal storage dump, etc.
The story could be that you get these suits after tragic events in the story, for example, you and the mayor of kaboom village join together to destroy one of the z-bot factories. After succeeding, some z-bots track you and you go through an adventure where you have to escape their pursuit. However, the kaboom gets injured on the way and you salvage his body for the suit upon his request. The ending could be that you're in a z-bot suit leading your army into a pool of water, but native stinkers are shooting pow, brr and floing magic at you (or your friends are doing that, but didn't know you were captured)
The indigo glove magic could be Charge. It gives you nine charges to use the suit's ability. Z-bot suit lets you fly forward (time-related challenges). Kaboom suit lets you explode taking out the four squares around you(puzzles involving barrels or enemies). Pushable scouge suit lets you shoot out a fireball and a red chomper suit makes you say what chompers say which calls other chompers towards you (button puzzles etc, maybe a limited number of steps or they use TOW, WSW, RTW ai and they stop following you when they hit a wall)
What do u guys think?

Handle Boxes: These boxes have handles on them, so you can pull them! They float.
Metal Handle Boxes: These boxes have handles on them, so you can pull them! They do not float.
Grandma Ship: If all Mother Ships in the level are defeated, the Grandma ship makes 4 more!
The MAV: This chases you and goes over walls. If it touches you, you get a MAV!
Conveyer Belt Reverse Button: These come in circle, square, and star shaped buttons. When these buttons are pressed, the direction of the conveyor belt is reversed.
Flood: The "Flood" setting can be toggled from in the level editor. Flood causes all water pools to change the neighboring tiles into water at a certain speed (set by the editor). If you are over a tile that is changing into water, you will die.

Maybe you could do a Majora's Mask kind of thing, but playing a song changes them into a suit instead of a mask?maxnick wrote:Ummm... I don't think wearing some one else's body is really going to fit in with wonderland...vinheim wrote:you salvage his body for the suit upon his request.
But your other ideas are good!

How do you start pulling them. Do you press a button? Do you click it?
Grandma Ship: If all Mother Ships in the level are defeated, the Grandma ship makes 4 more!
Woah! Now imagine a level where the goal was to kill all the great-grandmother ships. That would be tough
The MAV: This chases you and goes over walls. If it touches you, you get a MAV!

This sounds like a good idea. Very interesting for puzzles

What happens to tiles that have special objects on them like signs?

They turn into water too, since they are tiles. If there is a box on top of the tile, it will fall into the water. Enemies will explode, like usual. What happens to tiles that have special objects on them like signs?
As for the pull box thing, I guess it's pressing a button to pull.
Anyways, I have more ideas!
M.O.A.K.: This is a huge Kaboom!. If it blows up, everything in the level does. Unfortunately, that includes you. M.O.A.K. does NOT stand for Mother of all Kaboom!s. It stands for Massive Ornary Attack Kaboom!. Either way, it can be pretty deadly.
The "YOU WILL DIE" tile: If you step on this, you will die. I'm hex editing one right now and will post it soon in the topic named "Spooky...".
Edible Light Bulbs: As seen in the topic called "A to Z stories", we have made light bulbs edible! Only Chompers are good at eating these though, so you have to lure Chompers to them to get rid of these Edible Light Bulbs! You cannot push them.
Bor: This enemy is just plain boring. Like a Kaboom!, it will blow up if you get too close or gets trapped. It changes direction randomly when it hits a wall and while blow up if it hits a pit, empty tile, water, or lava. It will always walk backwards just to make its life interesting.
More RTW Editor & GamePlay Ideas
O.K., here are some of Andy's crazy ideas for an RTW game
( in some alternate universe, )
A: Using an enhanced level editor,... the ability to place more than
one object on the same TILE, .... or, the ability to place more
than one TILE on the same TILE.
Some examples of this are:
1. placing 5 coilys on the same square,
.... when the game starts they shall start to diverge, naturally.
2. placing a prism and a reflector on the same tile,...
3. placing several of any creature on the same tile,...
4. placing a conveyor and a gate on the same TILE.
5. placing an electro and a conveyor on the same TILE.
6. placing a scouge on a conveyor.
7. placing a scouge on a transporter..
8. placing a sticky cube on a transporter..
9. placing a GATE on WATER.
10. placing a GATE on anything.
11. ...and the list goes on...
B: I think that someone has already mentioned magnetic boxes,
which are magnetic (metal) boxes that have polarities that either
repel or attract other boxes.
I would like to add another variation on the magnetic box thing,...
which is levitating magnetic boxes (or slabs) ,...
these hover above tiles in a similar way as saucers (UFOs) do,
but since these are not "alive" they do not move under their own
power, but rather they may be pushed by Stinky; since they
are magnetic they may interact with other magnetic slabs in
very interesting ways while floating in air, repelling or attracting
in some cases creating oscillations, or repetitive movements.
C: I would like to see an option for tiles that may be programmed
to change their texture when stepped on, ... in other words,
texture-changing tiles, or one very bizarre application of this
would be animated-tiles. The user would provide all of these
customized options, just as they do now with the 13-piece
customized texture set.
D: Signs with color letters, ...let the user choose the color of these letters.
Signs with customized graphics (or background),
Signs with emoticons, as browsers do have.
Signs with customized FONTS.
E: We need the ability to save a CUSTOMIZED VIEWPOINT setting.
The view is set using ALT-X. Create an option where this
view is saved, and can be retrieved and SHARED in users'
customized levels. This way the players that download levels
can see and play the levels exactly from the same POINT of VIEW
(with the option to change it, of course> )
F: Here's a wild idea: How about color-swapping link spheres?
(for example:) when a blue sphere and a red sphere click together,
they shall swap colors, and continue on their separate ways.
G: ... an element called a "Swap-Tile", ..anything that steps on it
remains trapped there, and becomes free again only when something
else steps (or rolls) onto it.
H: ... a "ghosting Tile", ...anything that steps on it becomes a ghost
of its former self,
1. these ghosted items only react with other ghosted items,...
2. a "ghost reflector" only reflects "ghost-fire", ....
3, a closed "ghost-gate" only blocks "ghost-creatures",
4. a "ghost-Stinky" can only win the game by
exiting through a "Ghost-Exit",....
5. a "Ghost Stinky" can only collect "Ghost Coins"
6. Ghost-Fire can only hurt Ghost Stinky and ghost-items.
7. an "Un-Ghosting Tile" may reverse all of the above logic.
I: How about an option for different colors of sticky-cubes?
pink sticky cubes only stick to pink sticky cubes,
green sticky cubes only stick to green sticky cubes, and so on.
J: Multi-COLORED Link Spheres: These are special links sheres,
where each link sphere may be made of two (or more) colors.
For example: A link sphere may be half blue and half yellow,
(perfectly half-painted down its hemisphere),
when this link-sphere is pushed, any other link spheres that contain
any amount of blue or any amount of yellow ALSO therefore move.
K: Time-COLORED Link Spheres: In increments of time, or through
some other influential factors, these special link spheres change
their colors from one color to another.
And to make the matters more complex (& fun) they do not
all change their colors at the same RATE.
L: How about a WARP GATE that creates extra Stinkys, or
extra Loofs, etc, and all of these are playable by the player.
M: Link-Stinkies, (and Link-Loofs, etc.), these move
in an identical fashion as the player moves,
instead of REVERSE moves as ShadowStinks do now.
N: Growing vines (and bushes): where these grow Stinky can
no longer walk.
O: A snake-like creature that occupies more than one tile at a time:
Any portion of its body may activate switches, buttons, etc.
If it is unfortunate enough to be cut apart by a GATE or some similar
accident, then it breaks into two at the point of injury, and these two
parts continue to live on their own, becoming two snakes (or more).
In other words it divides like as an earthworm may.
Consider this creature to be deadly to Stinky, Loof, etc.
There may be a variation where this creature grows longer with
time, ... or, it grows longer on each rainbow coin is chomps down
and steals from you.
P: ICE with particle effects, ... when you walk (or ski) on this,
a dust-like cloud of ice goes up into the air for a short while.
(This would just be an aesthetic effect.)
Q: Let the user include mirrors or mirrored-surfaces in the game.
R: Let the user include opaque (or alpha-textures) in the game.
S: Let the user position a "sun" in the sky, ... this would create
directional shadows.
T: Let the user create conical lights (of different hues), and let
the user position these anywhere,... these would be included
in the customized "sets"
U: Good Luck with this, how do you like these enhancements?

Here's some new views and a vending machine!
4D View: I'm sure you all know about the 3D view, like in the maze levels, right? Now there must be a 4D view! When there is a 4D-View tile present, you look out of the Stinker's eyes... But everything looks 4-Dimensional! It is like 3D view, except you can only walk backwards and turn! Also, the screen will occasionally blur or change colors every few seconds. It may also rotate. Preferences for how fast this may be can be set in the editor.
Vending Machine: Use rainbow coins to buy something from the vending machine! How many rainbow coins it needs and what the item/object is can be set in the editor. For example, you can use 3 rainbow coins to buy a wooden box to get across a patch of water.
2D View: The camera is facing sideways towards your Stinker when one of these tiles is present.
1D View: The camera is in a birds eye view at your Stinker when one of these tiles is present.
5D View: The camera is in 5-Dimensional view when one of these tiles is present. I won't go into specifics. All I can say is that the screen, camera, colors, and zoom will go really crazy.
