I am at the start where I met the rainbow-stars

Would somebody please tell me how to get that rainbow-key?
I can't figure it out :?
If I go through the indigo transporter and stand immediately on the switch, I can't get to the key...
And if I just run to ...

But please! Where is the yellow one? I want to go out of this, at least for a while and explore the rest of wonderland...

In the south of the last picture I can see a golden star...

It is in world 7 the 7th level, called; the inner sanctum.

(The only thing I can do is stand on the button, but that doesn't help at all. And I'm able to use the 2 woden boxes, but only for the fires just next to them ...

I am stuck at the end: just Stinky is left and I don't know how to get that last coin in the lower right corner. I also don't know how to put something on that place in the top middle.
