Re: PLEASE READ: Exploit: Remote Code Execution through WA

Couldn't this also be used in a positive way, to bundle all sorts of custom content without having to get the player to be able to download a single wa3 file instead of multiple separate zip files? Yes, it can. Hold C and click "compile & exit" in the OpenWA editor (not MNIKEditor). Or it might be ...

Re: Nuked out of Discord...

Lately, some wannabe-chad imposter of me came up and spammed all my friends and servers behind my back. Something about a Counter-Strike Global Offensive 2 Airdrop. But I will say this, I don't even have interest in that game, nor would I ever do that. It's just some toxic bot hacker who temporaril...

Re: Buttonpush Discussion Thread

Oh, haha, nope! It's technically in OpenWA, but it doesn't do anything except place model turrets. They were originally supposed to basically act as fireflowers or lasers of some kind that shot in the opposite direction to you. Turrets would've been a neat idea, actually; I'm not entirely sure why ...

What has happened to Emerald141's posts? The ones that I've seen are all blank.
He wanted to zero his digital footprint. There was a lot of silly stuff on this forum in the late 00s to early 10s.

Re: PLEASE READ: Exploit: Remote Code Execution through WA

This is just the reality of using 20 year old software. MS couldn't have foreseen these issues at the time, and while you can argue about how his code needs refactoring now, from a contextual perspective it was perfectly fine back when it was made, but it isn't anymore.

GLITCH TURTLE

An experiment with using track turtles and the turtle save/load glitch that makes still-standing, loaded players, walk-through to turtles.
6 variations included based on how you remove the turtle.

Cave of Forgotten Treasures Tennis Series - Part 2

This is part 2 of a tennis between me and Nasko. I will wait on him to release part 1 if he wants.
Essentially, crazy-levels, although our styles differ slightly.

Be careful as you can softlock yourself in the second part. Make sure to turn on everything before turning anything off!

Temple of Remembered Miseries

This level doesn't require Better Editor, only vanilla components, so it should load in all players (I think).
Desert/jade temple themed.
Actually I'm wrong it does use stinker whistles but that should be fine.

Remote Control Devices

Another Better Editor level. Getting the goal is 'easy' but can you also get all the gems and coins? Note: some keys are redundant or with very niche uses, but you won't run out of inventory space. New version released, see the second post. Based off the Uo design style, abandoned grassy temples and...

Tricks and Tribuations

This level requires the Better Editor to play. New version released, see below post. This level is based off the 'townhouse/museum' style. Introducing: -kill a kaboom silently with a growflower -a track turtle that makes your life hard -a glitch where red subcolour 0 linked barrels will link to all ...

"Lazy editing" challenge entry

A level with default settings for almost everything and "useless" gates.
The stinker will MAV you if you talk to them as I didn't add a dialog, just make sure they're safe.

A series of BetterEditor 4.0 levels. Obviously requires Better Editor but no custom content needed otherwise. Unzip the archive, dump everything in downloads inbox, have fun. Yes I named it 'Drugerman1009'. Just an inside joke -Void-style black magic level ** -Cavern-style wraith/chomper tracking le...

This is a fun deviation experiment from my second horror idea.
Can you walk in line with the stinker? There's some lenience if you're slow but don't run ahead or fall behind!

Old Horror Ideas Test (with only vanilla 0.96 content)

These were some unused ideas I had for enemy behaviour so I wanted to see if they're interesting enough to do properly again and expand on.
If I am to redo the Wonderamnesia mega-level, I need something solid to work off of.

Chomper test

This is to test some outstanding chomper behaviour glitches that I am unsure were fixed in WA3.

-Glow chompers stop glowing after a load or save (this was patched iirc)

-Ghost chompers cannot be killed by drowning and will just treat the tile as floor until they get off of it.
