Nintendo is very serious about copyright, even when it came to fan games until recent times.
Its perfectly legal in its current state, a nonprofit game, but wouldn't be as part of the archive.

The thwarts are never deactivated.
Their move path just ends them in fake walls without deactivating them. The fake wall will usually cover them up,
but some models, like the thwarts, are bigger then the standard tile width/length, so you can see them if they are in certain orientations.

How much custom music is there, anyway? And how integral is it? Most could probably be replaced with the regular in-game tracks, anyway, to make sure it isn't just silent. I'm not sure about RTW, but the adventures levels have several music packs over 40 tracks, so its probably well over 100 custom...
