Beta Testing Stinky and Loof in Wonderland (a Thanksgiving post)

In September of 2021, i was in a very dark place. I am not going to get into personal details, but i will say that i was not feeling so well mentally. By the end of the month, i was so warn out, and i didn't know what to do. My self-esteem was really hurting and i was having dark thoughts. So when P...

Re: *SPOILERY QUESTION*

Nice. Well, the lyrics are almost what was imagined so not bad. Could you screenshot the music sheet and then crop or blur out your email in Paint? I'm not sure if you should be sharing that though... Sharing what? My gmail or the music sheet? Dan actually instructed me to share the music sheet wit...

Re: *SPOILERY QUESTION*

He gave me the entire music sheet via gmail. I don't know how to send it to you guys without exposing my gmail account. But here are the lyrics: There's a place not far I know of where adventure calls to me. Where 'round each bend, tiny mysteries end way out past the sea. Where the streams are shimm...

Maybe time to send a followup email.
I emailed Dan Reynolds this morning, and am hoping for an answer. So far he has not replied.

Re: *SPOILERY QUESTION*

I emailed Dan Reynolds. This was his reply: Hi, Are you referring to this thread? http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27703 If so, I wrote the lyrics, the song, etc. It's a pretty cheesy song. A lot of my Wonderland Adventures work was inspired by Alan Manken, in particular "Just Around Th...

Re: *SPOILERY QUESTION*

Another mystery solved! A new mystery opens up. Who wrote this song? If you go on Dan Reynolds' (who composed the POTZ soundtrack) website, he says, in a post dating October 10,2010, "Dan is thrilled to be working on two brand new projects! One is an upcoming game out of Midnight Synergy using the ...

To me, the first line of the last verse sounds like "Where the sun shines warmly down on your neck"
That makes much more sense.

This is as close as I can understand the lyrics. I also had some help from someone else on YouTube. There are a few parts I am still uncertain about. Re: Generic Wonderland Facts and Findings Topic

We don't really know it's the Z-bots until the end and even then how exactly they orchestrated it all is confusing. There's never any real explanation for the temple or the abandoned mine either. It IS explained how the Z-Bots orchestrated it all. The Z-Bots built the Sky Machine in Wonderland, pre...

A bit late to the party, but I became a tester as well earlier this month. I've already submitted some feedback, and I'm excited to keep playing and see this progress! I may not post regularly as much here anymore due to my busy life, but I've never left - once a Wonderlander, always a Wonderlander...

The largest "official" level is, to the best of my knowledge, "Five Squared, Squared", so the levels can be quite big without crashing.

On another note, there is a bit of foreshadowing that can be seen in the Sky Machine room near the beginning of the game. :D

Re: Generic Wonderland Facts and Findings Topic

I can see why they'd argue those points. MoFI changes scenes and moves characters a lot while keeping the story mostly hidden from us, left to the imagination. However, that's intentional design. It keeps the game feeling fresh in a way that WA1 and PotZ cannot do. How is the story hidden from us m...

Who designed the levels in WA1?

While it is clear that Patrick designed all the levels in TOW and RTW, and the credits make it clear who designed the levels in WSW, MOFI and POTZ, i always wondered who designed the levels in WA1. Were they all created by Patrick? And speaking of which, where there any beta testers for WA1?

I always just assumed it was because she (i think its a she) worked in the fields and got sunburned. But was there ever a canon explanation? Just seems like there's 4 races of stinker (also corresponds to an eye colour, and somehow a shoe colour), and each of the main 4 heroes corresponds to one. T...

Re: The Usual Suspects.

Kind of an odd phrase - apparently it means "the usual people or things that are suspected or thought of in a particular situation". In this case I think it means everybody else who wasn't listed in the credits. Maybe there were some testers who wished to remain anonymous. ...Or maybe Patrick was r...

I'd like to resolve most or all of the outstanding issues before general release, which likely puts it towards the end of the year.
Glad to see that the 7th, or 8th game, depending on if you count Krabby Quest is (realtivly) almost here.

I love the ultimate end result though. Stinky and Loof have such cute voices. :D Agreed! Thankfully that's the one set of voices that the custom voices feature can't replace. The story of how i discovered the secret is quite weird. Since the credits in all 5 other games have easter eggs in them (PO...

Re: Return to Wonderland- can't figure out how to reach two of the secret notes

In RTW Deluxe there's a handful of notes you're told about that have secrets. I've found most of them but am stuck on two and can't complete the secret - can someone who's beat this campaign 100% DM me? I never got a reply to this but eventually I found a youtube guide for it somewhere...they were ...

Re: Hardest Level in Original Trilogy (TOW, RTW, WSW)

WSW is 100% story/action based while that is only true for RTW's expansions and not at all for TOW. Which sets were expansions for RTW? Was too young when it came out in 2003. The Deluxe set and the Platinum set, respectively 'Return of the Rainbow Spirits' and 'The Teleporters Across Worlds'. Both...

Re: Hardest Level in Original Trilogy (TOW, RTW, WSW)

It has a lot more action-themed levels and in particular levels that end on action. This I guess is to make it more ''story-like''. So does the Deluxe Set of RTW. I still don't see how WSW is more action themed. WSW is 100% story/action based while that is only true for RTW's expansions and not at ...

Re: Hardest Level in Original Trilogy (TOW, RTW, WSW)

Putting that at the end is a form of build up I suppose. WSW always liked to make things dramatic. How is WSW any more dramatic than TOW or RTW? It has a lot more action-themed levels and in particular levels that end on action. This I guess is to make it more ''story-like''. So does the Deluxe Set...
