The .it's could be exported as MIDI files, but then you'd have to convert them into a format designed for the GB sound chip. I know the NES has NSFs, and you could use Famitracker to write music in that format, but I know nothing about the GB on the other hand. It wouldn't help however because the g...

That's a question that is very difficult to answer.

The way it works for me is that I just randomly pick random puzzle elements in my head and try to make something out of it. That's as much as I can explain because I don't understand it myself that well

I'd say you just need a lot of practice.

I've played a little of A Link to the Past. It's pretty cool, but I found it kinda hard to get into. I like most RPGs, but too often they flood you with infomation and I tend to forget the story if I start a new game, play for half an hour and then don't touch it for a couple days. If I had more ti...

If you listen to all the files (acpuX.wdf) in the sound directory, all of them are references to something, with the exception of the obvious "I am a Z-Bot" and "Stinker eliminated".

If you use a Mac, why are you in the forums for a PC game? Because if we have a Mac, it doesn't mean that we can't play the game one way or another, or at least played it in the past, duh  Besides, I could say the same for you for using Linux. Anyway, if you have a Mac, just download OpenEmu,...

Has anyone played a Zelda game here? I did play a few. It's not something that caught my attention too much, but I really like the top-down play in Link To The Past and Link Between Worlds. Yes, I tried it on VBA-M (an "upgrade" to VBA) and it works just fine.
How do you make it play, though?
What do you mean?

It's been a while since I played Pokemon, but I have in fact played every main series game (excluding double versions, obviously, though I still have a few). There's an announcement, presumably for a new game(s) tomorrow at 10 AM EST if you're interested.

Now it's primarily a post-what-you-want forum, but the GameMaker part is still a thing and people occasionally post there. If you're ever going into game development, definitely try GameMaker.

Epigam is a community driven by MNIK (MyNameIsKooky) with most of members here now having joined the forums, with a few having migrated there entirely. The original idea, as far as I know, is to host custom (GameMaker) games by various members, as it was often just spread across the off-topic forum ...

Do NOT install DirectX individually. Get a clean copy/install of XP (make sure it isn't a screwed up version like most pirated copies are) and install it on a fresh virtual hard drive. Then if your version of XP isn't SP3, update manually (search for the thing). After that, there will be automatic u...

It seems that they've merged VMWare Player (free) and VMWare Player Pro (paid) and now it's called VMWare Workstation Player. You're not doing this correctly. You need to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions, which is in one of the menus somewhere. This will install all necessary drivers in order for it to function perfectly. Do this on a clean install of XP. Also, I would recommend VMWare Player over VirtualBox, but hey...

I have no extra antivirus, just Windows Defender. I'm looking at installing an Windows XP VM in VirtualBox. Does Wonderland work in XP? Perhaps the reason Windows is slow is I don't have a very good PC. It's only got 1.6GB of RAM, which I think is the minimum to run Windows 10. Yes, all Wonderland ...

Don't play using Wine. If you really want to play on Linux, download VMWare Player or something and install Windows on it and then play the game. Wine is buggy. If it takes 15 seconds to create a <10MB file, then something is clearly wrong with your computer. Could be something with the hard drive. ...

Random suggestion but try playing the game on Windows (VM or partition), rather than using Wine on Linux (as is seen by the menu thingy of the game).
