Oh, I see you're using my Mayan Temple leveltex. I can speed up the release of my Mayan props if you'd like to use them as they are almost ready.Yoda wrote:Soon comes CvP 8
And yes, you will be able to 'play' chess in CvP 8

Can you tell me which program do you use to make the 3D models again? I admit I rarely make the models from scratch, but when I do I use Blender or AC3D. Blender offers better modelling tools but AC3D is way better at small fixes and its limited functionality makes you remember how the objects look...

I know what you're guys thinking: the mood I create on the screens I give you comes from the combination of custom leveltex and custom objects. That's true because most of the objects were created with certain leveltextes in mind for my hub-to-have-been (in fact the ones in this post come from one o...

So to keep the tension up I decided I'll release the next 4 textures separately, one texture daily. Today's update is the Greek Coast leveltex: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/7f88/es2azhpza7tel3a4g.jpg http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/0967/iqi4y0dqe0yem2g4g.jpg http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/e4d...

I still have like a ton of models on my drive but they need polishing, rescaling and other minor stuff to make them usable. I should be done with this semester's finals in two weeks so I can spend some time to bring the unfinished content to life mid-June. Are you going to update this? I'm looking ...

I've made a small discovery today: remember the UseNextToSprings WOPs ? They have the unknown parameter 43 set to 610 (HEX: 262). While the problem of destroying a monster standing next to spring was removed in PotZ (possibly in MOFI) this parameter may store some important interaction settings. App...

Is separate IceBlock WOP possible?
For my adventure I need a WOP of a Brr IceBlock. However, I wasn't able to extract any useful stuff from a .wlv to make a WOP from and the Editor doesn't accept !IceBlock as a model, so hex-editing is necessary. Did anyone succeed in using the IceBlock model (in fact I can use a Cuboid with IceBlock...

Music pack advice needed: volume troubles
So as some of you may have realised, I am planning to come back to WA3E this summer to release all the stuff I kept on my hard drive. Part of it are two music packs: the typically soundtrack-ish one and the very special second one which was intended for my secret hub (which I never managed to realis...

Re: Does anyone have the WA Editor Tools by Jafo?
Wait, didn't Jafo find a way to use custom hats for NPCs? It could be useful given we now have the custom model mechanics (which I investigated heavily and I think I'll come back to Wonderland this summer, so any ideas to toy with are welcome, I need to finish my TrueMovement research as it can seri...

I really don't mean to necro but I recently took a look at this and /wow/ was I impressed! You have quite a lot of custom models in your adventures, I notice, many of which look rather appealing. Do you, or anyone else by any chance know where I may get those models? OR any other useful places to g...

Wait, so you recreate the WA1 hub instead of converting it with the WA1 tools from Legacy Editor hex-editing topic? I've always took the .wlvs from original WA trilogy and modified them, then I realised it in fact complicates most of the storylines and decided to simply send the Stinkers to another ...

It seems I forgot to write about the 62x62 bug here, I mentioned it few times in the Custom Content forum but not here. Top tile faces (the bug doesn't apply to the sides) of the leveltex (the bug doesn't apply to the backgroundtex) aren't UV-mapped as it would seem logical. The 1px wide frame of th...

This method works for all top-rendered tiles, you cannot achieve true seamlessness without it. I discovered that bug while making a texture with geometric, ancient Greece inspired ornaments, because the decorations featured a lot of mosaic-like, 1px parts and the outer frame was not visible in-game....

Re: XD
For some reason, the pixel ends of the tiles overlap, which I've decided to let go. Are you aware of the 62x62 render bug? In fact the 1px wide frame of every tile is not rendered correctly at the tile tops by WA's engine, but it doesn't apply to the backgroundtex which is rendered as it should be,...

Boosting performance and quality with nVidia GPU
So I decided to share a valuable (I think) info here for all of us sporting nVidia GPUs. It is possible to significantly boost the graphics quality and FPS on Blitz3D games using nVidia Control Panel. All you have to do is to open it, create a new profile for the app you want to use (let's say wg.ex...

So once more wg.exe was not using my GPU, the same laptop (GPU: nVidia GT 555M) but this time with Windows 10 Anniversary Update, Avira Free Antivirus and GPU drivers with DirectX 12. I managed to fix it and it was neither WA3E's nor AV's fault. When I updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 my integ...

Pawelec's Custom Lair is online!
Things are going well and busy here, I should upload most of the W.I.P. works before the end of this week, so I decided it's time to give you a link to my Custom Lair. Lots and lots of stuff is waiting for you there. Right now there may be many W.I.P. things, but as I wrote above most of them are in...

What? No file replacements are needed, if you don't need objects changing colour then you can enable TextureName parameter in PowerWOP and type relative texture paths (wg.exe directory is the root, file extensions are mandatory) in the Editor. PNGs and BMP support 0,0,0 transparency, but no alpha ch...
