Not important, just Curious..

Hi all. Ever since I started downloading custom levels, I've had a few wher the model graphics sizes are sometimes odd numbers like 527 X 512 etc. Is there a way to play these levels without converting them to standard sizes like 512 X 512, 64 X 64 and so on? If not, why are they uploaded with the wrong sizes? :?:

The wrong size issue is a long standing one.
Certain graphics cards cannot read the odd sized ones, and some graphics cards can.
The reason the "wrong" sized ones were uploaded is because:
a) when we first started making models, we didn't know what we were doing, and didn't know any better, and
b) some people have never seen the topics where we have discussed the proper sizes for things.

If you come across some model (or texture) that doesn't work, let us know which one (and where it is) and someone will (hopefully) resize it for you if you are unable to do it yourself.

I had to go thru and resize a lot of the textures and houses because of my graphic card so I would be more than glad to zip anything up for you and PM it to you dean. The levels are so much better played with them.

Thank you uneekrose. No need, I'm able to do it myself. I was just curious about the (problem?). I can re-size, no problem. It was just after going through about 20 "can't load room 1" or some such in a row, and having to re-size, re-run Wonderland over and over for the next level's, that I wondered if I was doing something wrong. And also thanks to you all! Now I'm a Wonderland addict. Great fun, isn't it?

Very addictive. Glad you can do the resizing yourself. After I got my new graphics card I devoted almost a whole day in resizing textures, but it was worth it so I'd be able to play without interruptions.

Welcome to the forum dean.
