An addiction I have to break.

I skip levels too much in WA. Does anyone have any ideas on how to break this?

Skipped Relinquish

Don't worry, in order to get to the secret ending,
you'll have to play all of the levels anyways. ;)

If you mean for RTW or the original Wonderland,
though, then I guess you'd just have to be in the mood to play them. :P

Oh, and my YT wonderland channel. Forgot about that.

Record your entire playthrough, and I'll swear at you every time you skup a level. Just kidding, for me, it just came naturally. You can try to imagine skipping levels as a crime, so you will not want to skip levels. :)

I have the same addiction in WA series and I'm going to play POTZ this christmas or even before and I want to break this before I'm gonna ruin the game.

I have to admit I had some troubles with it long ago, so I'll tell you my story.

When WA1 came out, I was a child tempted very much to see what's ahead. On the other hand, skipping the levels with cheat code was a cheat, so what I did was to watch online solutions and redo the moves myself. With MoFI, which puzzles can be extremely I did the same.

And now, when PotZ came out, I can tell you it wasn't really a way to enjoy the game. I'm much older than I was, and so is my brain, so I decided to complete PotZ all the way myself. It was so entertaining, amusing and so much fun that I decided to do the same with WA1 (already done) and MoFI (I'm stuck in Acid Pools, but by no means I'll look for help). If you find the levels too hard to manage them yourself, there's another solution for you: show the game to your friends and invite them to Wonderland gaming sessions! For some time with my mates we're having a blast each Saturday getting through RTW's levels on my huge plasma TV screen :D

Hearing the whole room shouting ka-BOOM! or whispering Nyak Nyak is something you won't forget.

Well, actually it was a similar thing with me, but actually worse. My "puzzly part of the brain" isn't really great, which makes me stuck so often in puzzles. Although I did indeed complete all three games without cheats (eventually), I had to check a walkthrough for a few times because it was just way too hard. I might as well try to improve my ability to solve puzzles, because whenever the next game comes out, I would like to try to resolve it 100% by myself; no walkthrough or cheats. :)

Also, congrats for your 500 posts and congrats for becoming a rainbow master!

You don't have to worry about cheating on POTZ because you need to collect every coin to complete the game, and if you cheat on an adventure you don't keep the coins that you collected in it.

Ummm... No? :? Unless you're talking about 100% the game, which I don't think any of us is doing.

For me, it's practice makes perfect.
When I first started POTZ, I wasn't that good at solving WA puzzles, but after a while, when your brain gets used to the different elements in the game, you'll be able to solve the moderate ones. Granted, there'll be hard ones, like Star Crossing (THE most difficult one in POTZ, I spent 2 whole hours on that one), Closing Gates, and Gem Challenge (one of my favourites), or even plain ridiculous ones like Into the Deep Dark Cave (in MOFI, one of the levels I really hate), but you'll just have to discipline yourself to complete those puzzles. Before long you'll get the hang of things and be able to complete those hard levels.
It's natural, of course, to sometimes get stuck no matter how much you think. If that's the case then look through the hints in the Level Solutions topic. Resist the temptation to watch the video walkthroughs. They will spoil all your effort!
It would be ideal if you could play POTZ before WA1 as a brain workout (in my opinion, at least), but if you're scared of the story being spoilt then do WA1 first (which is the easiest of them all).
Oh yeah, sometimes I think about the level even when I'm away from the computer. If it's a challenging one I even think of it before I conk out! But my point is that you could try pondering over the level away from the computer if you're unable to find a solution within your computer time.
Try, try and keep trying till you get it!
Good luck! ;)

Um, most of us have completed the game with all gold coins. Don't you want to see what's behind the Gold gates? ;)

I will agree with the user samuelthx.
Practice makes you better...And the best thing is to think before you do any move in the hard levels.
If you ask my opinion, cheating is not the best way to complete a game {unless if you don't find a solution or there aren't any hints for these levels}.I say that because you can't enjoy the game and you don't get any coins/gems if you passed away a hard level.
I had played all Wonderland Trilogy and all Wonderland Adventures Trilogy and I had made walkthroughs on them.Well, only WA1 I made a 100% Walkthrough and I had completed all the levels but the other games where a little hard to complete all the levels with all coins/gems.
In the beginning of these games, the things are very easy and solving these puzzles were very easy but from one point and after, the puzzles are getting a little harder too solve them but some puzzles are super hard and they need a good timing and quick fingers to solve them.
Sometimes, the best thing that you must do if to think harder and try it again. If this thing doesn't succeed ,then enter in this forum and ask for help or see videos in Youtube on how to solve these puzzles.
The most important thing is not to give up and continue the tries until you succeed.
Good luck!!!

I would say Wonderland Adventures is the easiest, then Planet of the Z-Bots is in the middle, then Mysteries of Fire Island is the hardest.

The second game, Mysteries of Fire Island is by far the hardest one out of the three. No contest.

The third game, Planet of the Z-Bots is quite a bit more manageable, with a good mix of puzzle and action that doesn't leave you completely stuck for weeks on end. There are a few very tough levels, but most of them are optional.

The first Wonderland Adventures game is the easiest, but the pop quiz in the end of "The Pyramid" is almost impossible unless you pay extremely close attention to the game world or look in the walkthrough.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

I think the idea is that you're supposed to save there then go back through the game to find the answers then load the save again. I remember in my first playthrough I remembered all of them except the cost of the Xyzzy, so my plan was to select each answer from top to bottom until he let me through. But of course the top answer is the correct answer, so he let me through first time and I completed the quiz on my first go.

That's what I always do when I don't have a walkthrough on me. I just randomly pick stuff that I think may be right and hope and pray that I get it right. Some of the questions are bizzare since you have to watch credits or that kind of stuff to find the ritual something. The price of Xyzzy is written to be around three million rather than around 3000000.

As for the difficulty, I think WA is easiest, MOFI is painfully hard, while POTZ is hard but not as much. I prefer the easiest to be honest, since it's still very hard near the end for me.
