Macbook/iMac: You can either use Wine or also run the games in an VM (make sure that the hypervisor supports GPU passthrough). I would suggest you to use Wine as the VM would be a headache to set-up.

Chromebook: Not sure if you can run.

Most Chromebooks can run Linux software, including Wine, so it can be run, but many Chromebooks are very weak so it may not run well. macOS can run the game via Wine as well, although since 10.15 dropped 32-bit support it's a bit more complicated now. I used to play it on a VM during my Mac days.

My advice for an easy solution is to look at CodeWeavers CrossOver (easy-to use version of Wine) or VMWare Fusion (for virtual machines, now free).
