Minor problem with all Wonderland games

Post by chrise » Sun Dec 18, 2005 11:22 am

I have found a minor problem which seems to occur with all the Wonderland games on Windows XP Home Edition. If, while the game is running in windowed mode (I haven't tried doing this in full screen), I lock the computer (press Windows Key + L), when I unlock it, a message box pops up saying "Memory access violation", and the game exits when I dismiss the message. This seems to occur at any point in the game. You may wonder why I want to do this - the answer is simply if I am halfway through a level and have to leave the computer for a while in an untrusted environment (read school).

I didn't even know you could lock your computer. It's a good idea with kids about though.

Sorry that's no help to you chrise, but thought I'd mention it anyway. :)

Yeah, that happens to me if I close the lid of my laptop while the game or editor is running. I think the computer goes into hibernation or something (in my case) and when it comes back, reloading all the programs causes the error.

I've never found a fix other than to make sure I close the game before closing the lid.
