Don't get mad about this, Ben :D
Just start with the plain editor and try creating levels if you want to.

I'm member of this board for nearly a year and I'm not very busy with making levels  It's only about 30 so far, and there's been only two of them I used custom models resp. textures.

We have a lot of very talented people here who create really great levels with a lot of additional stuff. But that doesn't mean the "pure" levels are less fun.

Just look around, play levels, make levels and with time passing and experience growing you sure will be able to use the additional features, too. :D

Well put Lutz. ben, I borrow textures/backgrounds from those that make them. They encourage us to do that. It does make the level more original but "pure", as Lutz puts it, are just as fun and can be just as hard! There are some level makers who do not use textures but make killer levels. You know who you guys are

I found it was easier to start with regular levels and seeing what all I could do. You can do pretty much anything and everything.

Just have fun with it! It's easier to start out small than to take a huge chunk out of the apple.
If you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, you have to wake up and pay attention.

You can link to the online editor manual from the game menu. It gives you step by step instructions to create levels plus info on custom houses and models. You can print the editor manual or copy and paste in in to a new Word document and save it on your computer for future use.
