A question about level-editing, I think...

A question about level-editing, I think...

Post by T-file » Sun Mar 19, 2006 7:53 pm

Hi, everyone!

I'm pretty much new here at this forum, but I've played the games for a while.
I have a little question about level-editing, or somthing. It's hard to explain. I just want to know if I could post that question here?

I think this would be the right place to post editor questions. You might try doing a search first because your question could have already been asked and answered.

Well, it is a very odd question so I don't think it has been written before.
I guess I will ask it here then.

I have planned to make copies of the levels already in the game (Wonderland, Return to Wonderland Classic and Deluxe and Secret worlds), and put them in the level editor to edit them. (textures, 3D-mode etc.) But those levels seem to be in another kind of format than the levels you can create in the editor, or those made in the platinum edition.
Is there a way to edit those levels?
If so, how?

Anyone who knows more than me about this, please help me.
It's hard and "time-wasting" to copy them by yourself. I can't see all the details, you know. But the two levels I've done has been a great success.

There is no way to "copy" (open) those levels in the editor.
You could use alt x and take a screen shot, then recreate the level in the editor.
But maybe you need Midnight Synergys OK before you "copy" an official level. :?:

Well, I didn't really understand that screenshot-thing but I maybe should copy them myself by just looking after all. Thanks for your help, though. I hope it's not illegal or something to copy them by myself. Even if I don't let anyone share them.
