Level Editor

Post by Armando » Tue Jun 01, 2004 8:37 pm

After many weeks of playing wonderland levels, I have been thinking about trying my hand at creating levels. I've printed out the tutorials, etc. but would like to load a custom level into the editor. Could someone instruct me how to do this? Thanks

You need to save it to the root of the Custom Folder directory. Let me know if you need more help.

Thanks, Jen, for your reply. Did you refer to a game I might be working on when you say to save it to the root directory of the custom folder? I would like to be able to load any level created by others that I now have in my custom folder, which amounts to dozens and dozens, but all I see listed is about 8 levels.

You should be able to load any custom level into the editor, but the editor can only see those right under the Custom Level Driectory, not in any subdirectories under there. Does that make sense? For example I need to save any level I want to see in the editor under:
c:\Return To Wonderland v1.01\CustomLevels

Hope that helps.

Jen,
I finally got it through my thick skull and, on hind sight, I should have got it the first time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You mention printing out a tutorial. Where is this and how do I find it?

Thanks,

It's on the Midnight Synergy website under Return to Wonderland - go here:
