Are the user-created levels harder?

Post by rmalloy » Tue Apr 18, 2006 4:38 am

I recently bought Wonderland Secret Worlds. While I love the game, I am finding that the levels aren't all that challenging (I remember Adventures of Lolo being much harder). I was thinking about buying Return to Wonderland, and I'm wondering whether people are making much harder levels. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! It is always great to meet another Wonderland lover! I think it is a matter of one's own opinion if a level is considered hard! I personally find quite a lot of them challenging but definitely solvable. Some level makers design levels specifically for kids to play as well so those are easy levels. If you purchase Return to Wonderland Platinum edition there are already well over 5000 custom levels you can download and play. I imagine you might find some of them to be a challenge since there is such a variety of custom level designers.

True, true. I certainly have to think some on most of the levels, but I haven't encountered that frustrated feeling of walking about puzzled over a level, hoping for that magical insight. I love the cooperation aspect of the game, that could make a level really challenging.

Hi rmalloy,

You sound like a puzzle addict - the harder the better (I should know since I'm one  ). Secret Worlds will get more difficult as you go along especially "The Void" have some very good puzzles.

Most of the levels in Secret Worlds were made by someone from this forum, so if you like what you find in WSW you're bound to like a lot of the custom levels posted here. In general I think the custom levels are harder than the levels in any of the original games and some levelmakers in particular have a knack for making extremely hard logic puzzles.

I'll be happy to point someone out for you if you decide to buy Return to Wonderland Platinum (which in my opinion is highly recommendable).

Oh....allmost forgot  ..... Welcome to the forum

Thanks for your help guys. The game is excellent in every way. I love the combination of cuteness and difficulty. If I have time this summer, maybe I'll try my hand at making levels.
