Scores resetting on levels

Post by wonderlandlover » Wed May 24, 2006 4:10 am

Maybe this has been addressed before, but has anyone had a problem with levels that you have completed (with a gold star or not), and the score erasing?

I have been doing older levels, and I noticed that the score was reset to dashes, even though I know I had done the level before. And these are ones that I received when I purchased Return to Wonderland. It is very frustrating, because I don't like to have unfinished levels!

Anyway, just curious!

You may have inadvertantly opened a new player file, so there would be no scores for that player. It's easy to do, I used to do it a lot, and you would get a player called 'anonymous' in the list of player files.

Also sometimes if you move a level file from one folder to another, or open it in the editor and alter it slightly, that can cause the scores to be erased too.

If one of those reasons doesn't fit then I don't know what it is.

Scores resetting

I've recently had this happen with my game as well. I start out in one folder, play a level, check out a new folder, play a level, and then return to the old folder and the scores are gone. There is no new player file and the files were not moved. Don't know why this has started happening. :? I too like to keep the scores so I know what I have completed.

Popo and Cathy, thanks for replying. The problem I am having is just like Cathy described. I just hope it doesn't erase too many of them!

Thanks!
