It doesn't really have to conflict with the events at the moment. Just use the place and the character.
EDIT: I was replying to BWF's post a few posts back.

Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.
Animation is TIME-CONSUMING, especially for us, since we don't really *have* a true professional animator. So, if you want it to happen, be patient.
(Oh and I can't help you at all, unless you can use a whole lot of acoustic guitar music. That I could do. Not that fast, because I'm somewhat busy at the moment, but I could.)

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

A little Scary thing: http://www.mediafire.com/?168js9ta8j61c4n
BTW, make something grab the character or have something surprising happen at the end. This is also kinda short.

Today I found awesome.
I found the SGM V2.01 soundfont.
And I managed to make it work in OpenMPT.
Granted, the setup is a memory hog and requires me to close Opera before I can even properly load the soundfont... but that doesn't matter, all that matters is the sound. In under 250 MB I found awesome. And it's all freeware.
To make a long story short: I might actually start doing some music now!
This first piece is a short, simple "music box+specific electric piano" thingy that sounds pretty nice and calming. Not a serious piece, just a test for SGM V2.01 but I thought it sounded really nice, so... here it is. If you can use it like that -- fine. If you want me to continue it -- I will.

As much as I can, yes. In any case, I don't think my musical stuff will be THAT much slower than the actual "animation" part.
How do you like this little musical "something", anyway?
Oh, and by the way, I just took a listen to your own music recordings... nice playing on the keyboard, though I don't like the built-in stock rhythm on space race, but whatever... but the microphone noise makes it very hard to actually use. Do you have a way to re-record it with better sound quality?
