What's Hub?

Though I've been playing WA for quite some time now, I still do not understand.

WHAT IS HUB? What's in it anyway?

The hub is the main area of the game, where you are before you go into an adventure. For instance the jungle is a hub area and the yellow stars you stand on take you out of the hub and into an adventure. While in the hub you can walk from one area to another. If you're not in an adventure then you're in the hub.
