Making Custom Stuff work

Post by janetgalle » Sun Oct 10, 2004 8:43 pm

This is a simple explaination of "Custom Stuff". (I think) for
anyone who is having trouble getting the "Custom Stuff" to work.

I forget there are alot of "Newbies" who probably don't understand this stuff.
It took a lot of us a long time to figure it out.

First thing you have to do is create a CustomModels folder and a CustomHouses folder.

Find your Deluxe Return To Wonderland directory.
Start>Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer...click to open
in the new list that opens
My Computer>Local Disk (C: ).......click to open
In this new list look for Return to Wonderland Deluxe......click to open

You should see a window with a bunch of files about Wonderland and 2 folders named Players and CustomLevels

You need to create 2 NEW folders and name them CustomHouses and CustomModels.

Click on a blank area of the screen, click new, click folder.
Name the new folder CustomHouses. Spelled and spaced exactly the same way as it is done here. Now make another new folder and name it CustomModels. Spelled and spaced exactly the same way as is is done here.

When someone has a level that has a Custom house or model in it, there will be a seperate download box for it. Custom Stuff should always be in a zip file Just download it like you would a level file. But send it to the CustomModels folder or the CustomHouses folder (Whichever it is) instead of to your CustomLevels folder. (Unzip the zip file once it is in the correct folder.)Then download the level and PLAY! :D

I don't know what you know about computers, so I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help.

Using one of the Zodiac levels as an example....
this is what you should see if you have the CustomHouses and CustomModels folders in the right place, spelled and spaced correctly.

Yes Anthony,

Zodiac1, Zodiac2, and Zodiac3 were all posted earlier today in the Custom Levels (Deluxe) Forum.
