Alt - X/ emoticons

Every time I click on a smilie, nothing happens. Can someone help? Also, everybody talks about Alt - X... what does it mean? I pressed the keys and nothing happened.
Does this happen to anyone else?

pp -- Alt-x doesn't do anything for me either, but I think it's the same as
holding down the shift key and pressing the arrow keys to take a peek
around the board.

As for the smilies..... under "options" (below the smilies) it needs to say
"smilies are ON". If it does, then you should be OK. You won't see the
smilies until you either press "submit" or "preview" though.

If none of this is any help, let us know.

You need to use the numerical keypad to zoom in and out etc, whilst holding down the Alt and X buttons.

Make sure the NUM LOCK is off.

alt+X will make you scroll the level up, down, right left and with many other angles (try all keys). and it will not reurn to the main scroll even if you stop pressing the keys.

To use Alt-x you need to press both those keys and at the same time use the number keys at the end to move around.

9 zooms out
3 zooms in
7 alters perspective so you're looking down from above
1 alters perspective so you're looking side on
8,4,6 & 2 just move you around like the arrow keys.

So if you use keys 3 & 1 you can go right down level with the board as if you are in the game, and even go below ground and into the water with the fish.
