WA3 Crowd Source: Custom hats and accessories [Closed]
I'm just posting this one with a question mark. A few people had asked me if I need more custom hats etc. I haven't added any for WA3 since WAMOFI - I thought the selection was great already. But would folks like more options for hats in WA3?

Alright, it's on!
Here's the link to the prop-viewer you'll need to test out your creations.:
Click here to download and unzip a StinkerView program. Run it to see a Stinker go through several animations, wearing Stinky’s blue hat and a pair of sunglasses. Press 1 or 2 to toggle the two accessories, press ESC to exit. Included in the directory you’ll also find the model and texture for both the glasses and the hat. The game will automatically place the accessory models based on the position of the main Stinker model. Use the two sample models as guides to where your models should be placed, how they should be rotated, and how big they should be. When you have a new model, simply replace either glasses or hat (3ds and bmp) files with your new ones to test how they’d look in-game. Note that while these are called “hat” and “glasses”, your models could of course be anything else, too. If you have an idea for something that could look good attached to a Stinker body, go for it! The way it will look in this viewer program is the way it will look in the final game, so check how your accessories look in the viewer before submitting. Note that models should have a single texture, only.

Would be interesting if there was a hat with a little bow in the back or on top that's kinda like the one in my avatar..
Anyways that's a really cool Chef Hat model Janet!
I've tried modeling with Wings3D before and well..... I don't really know how to model. If I knew how then I would love to do some hats.

Oh, and another thing: Some of these non-recolors warrant recolors of themselves. Like, maybe not every bow-fanatic likes red, or not every chef likes white? And uh, I guess those are the main best hats so far, but you know.
i should change my signature to be rude to people who hate pictures of valves
