What did the Rainbow Spirits do to Qookie's mushroom garden?

In Deluxe Set World 3 Level 5 "Mushroom Farm". Qookie asks "What have the Rainbow Spirits done to my mushrooms?". However, it's never actually made clear what the Rainbow Spirits did to the mushrooms.

Considering that the sign is near the giant Mushrooms, I assume that the Rainbow Spirits somehow made the Mushrooms huge.

Why would Qookie be angry then? That would benefit her immensely.
