Patrick, we have a serious attachment problem!

Hi Patrick,

Multiple forumites are having problems adding attachments. It seems to be OK with very small attachments (e.g. levels, tiny pictures), but a custom house or model just seems to be impossible.

I have problems:

And I know Davimad and Liz Mayhew are having problems as well.

All seems to be getting the same error message:

the error message wrote:Sorry, but the maximum filesize for all Attachments is reached. Please contact the Board Administrator if you have questions.

Has something gone wrong in the reorganization? Or has it something to do with all the pictures in the beautiful signatures? (I hope not, but it's worth investigating.) Are you running low on server storage capacity?

It's very annoying and I hope it gets sorted out soon.

Yep - the resources are low. Sorry, mette, for not checking that earlier when you PMed me. There are now over 5000 attachments with a total size of 150 MB on this board... much more than I anticipated when I set it up.

I will increase the space shortly - just need to make sure there's room on the server.

Would it be a good idea to get rid of some of the stuff on here seeing as they're all available on your website Mette. Patrick can't go on expanding forever can he.

I'm sure newbies can't read everything that's ever been posted. Maybe some of the old stuff could be deleted.

Any thoughts?

I agree with you Popo on Patrick being able to get rid on old stuff and the things that Mette has on her website.
