How can I delete a custom level file

Post by sonic » Sat May 26, 2007 2:03 pm

I have downloaded and played lots of custom levels. Is there any way I can delete them from the actual game.
I know I can delete them from the custom folder.

Any advice would be appreciated

Not sure what you mean Sonic? If you delete levels from the Custom Folder they are deleted from the game.

Hi Liz
I hope you can help, perhaps I'm not explaining it very well but here goes..
I've downloaded about 25 custom levels & they all appear when I play the game. When I go into 'Return to Wonderland' folder & then go into custom levels ( where you download them to ) I can delete the ones I have managed to solve but they are still in the 'custom levels' in the actual game

How very strange! I know that if you have the game open but minimized, when you delete levels and go back to the game they still appear. But as soon as you play a different level and go back to the CustomLevels list they will be gone.

This is how I delete levels using Windows XP. First get to the Custom Levels.

Start - My Computer - Disk C - Return to Wonderland Deluxe - Custom Levels.

Now drag the ones you want to delete to the recycle bin, or highlight and delete from the left menu.

They should be gone. If not, maybe someone else can help?

Thanks for replying Liz.
I must be having a few 'senior moments' because I was trying to delete the wrong folder. All OK now.
I have to say that I think the custom levels are really good & the Wonderlanders who make them are brilliant. Some of the kid's levels I can't solve but I'll keep trying.

Thanks Liz
