To all level makers

Post by bladeslass » Wed Feb 20, 2008 3:50 pm

Hi everyone, I'm not sure I'm posting this on the correct forum so please don't have a go at me.
Firstly I would just like to say that I am doing all your levels (from back to front) and wondered if any knows a short cut to get to a certain page. I download a couple of pages at a time and it takes ages to flick from the end to where I want to be. May seem a silly question but my patience is not all it should be, you would realise this if you could hear the cussing when I get spiked, blown up etc  :?
Finally, and the main reason I am posting this is I want to congratulate you all on your superb and entertaining levels. You are all so brilliant I wouldn't know where to start, but I am an oldie (54 today yuk) but I love playing and have got all my grandkids hooked.

THANKS AGAIN :D :D :D

Hey bladeslass HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I'm not a level maker but if you go to Mette's site http://wonderland.nutters.dk she has everybody's levels available for download. She has the most incredibly organized site for Wonderlanders!

I'm not sure what you mean by pages either. Do you mean that when you load the game you have all of your levels in "CustomLevels" and it takes a long time to get to the bottom of the list? If so there's a few suggestions around on the forum that might help.

You can make separate folders for each of your favorite level makers. Or separate them by month or just alphabetically or however you want to. Just create folders in your "CustomLevels" folder and they will be available when you load the game.

Maybe someone else can link you to the great ideas folks have. I just can't seem to find the threads with all that info at the moment :? I found just a few like here http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... ize+levels and here http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3617

Hope ya have a great B-day!

hi rescuefire, thnx for your good wishes, just to clarify the question about the pages, on this (puzzle/action levels)forum there are about 176 pages I have so far got to 146 (lots to go yet he he, hope I live long enough)
With your links however, I may not need to carry on doing that anyway so thanks very much. :D

You are soooo welcome! It's great to have another forum member who enjoys Wonderland as much as some of us do! There are some crazy folks here (not me of course) and they are all such great fun! Silly, funny, sarcastic yep yep it's all good :D

I found a quick way to skip through pages. When you're on page 1, look at the address bar and there is a 0 at the end. Page 2 has a 50, page 3 has 100, and so on, adding 50 per page. So if you replace the number at the end with a different one, say 600, it will take you to that page, 13 in this case. Much quicker than clicking next dozens of times. :D

Pauline you're brilliant! I've always wanted to find a faster way to skip through the pages.

Thanks! :D

If you want to go to a specific page you can do some math like this:

# of page, multiplied by 50, minus 50. Example: if you want to go to page 91 put "91*50-50" into a calculator and you would get 4500 so if you put that number in, you get to page 91.
