Hm... Somehow these spheres seem to be familiar to me. But why? Where did I see them before?

The spheres were red leader and red wingman!

There will be 25-35 levels in this series... I don't know exactly yet.

You do seem to have a thing for perfect timing don't you? Again too many restarts but still a fine level and a nice homage to chip.
