Yes, I was flummoxed with your red herring.
Finally I discovered a couple tricks to save Loof from his fiery ordeal.

I could not get out of the main section where Stinky pushes
the boulder (onto the trampoline).

It's one of the hardest yet. ;) I'll be back later.

It's a great level, so I'll wait for the video solution.
I can't provide video solutions, but if you need a hint earlier, let me know.

The little red alligator allows you to get out, actually.

I'm at the boxes now.

Not exactly a glitch, a feature - here goes: A cannon does not shoot while in motion!

Here goes: I keep moving one of them from left to right and back to the left, repeatedly until the cannons are well apart out of sync.

Hey Amnon,

Call me dense. I can't get in the gates to move them until Loof gets the coins. I have Loof in front of the boxes and Stinky by the cannons. May I please have a step-by-step?

Edit: Oh, wait - I think I have it.

The first part was easy but I would like to know how to move the cannons to keep from killing little Loof. I am also stuck with him on one side of the boxes. I can put one cannon in to clear one side of the boxes but can't figure out how to get in there myself to move it around. Help please.

Here goes: Move only one cannon - leave the other in place until the cannons are out of sync. The cannon is moved Left-to-Right and Right-to-Left on the row above the exits. Eventually the cannons will shoot at different times, then throw them both in and have Loof move from side to side to avoid being shot until all boxes are cleared.

Well, Mr. Mark told me about the glitch trick, but I haven't been able
to set the timing that way.

It's an awesome glitch, if I could figure it out.

I'm left trapped in the scene pictured here.

Move the left cannon down two tiles, then keep moving it left and right along the bottom. Eventually the desync will be enough.
