Post by DiscGolfer » Mon May 02, 2005 12:53 pm

I don't really know what to say.
It's not as hard as it looks?

Liz,
If you cracked Double Barrel, you'll get this one. The same basic moves are involved- but only two guys have to move. The other two are unavoidably detained. (There's a good level title- "Unavoidably Detained").
There is a little trick you have to use (three times) to fill up the bathtubs.

I got the idea for these two levels after looking back at some of my other stuff. I saw "Fashion Show" and thought "Hmmm.. I can make a level out of that gimmick."

BTW- Did you ever finish "Liz"?

Well DG - I know you said use the same technique as for Double Barrel, but this is more complicated (for me anyway). I tried about 10 times more and got a bit further, but no success yet.

This is a real top quality brain teaser. 8) 8)

Hmmmm.....
I know Kazaa is giving it a go as we speak.
Here are some hints-

There are no quick moves required.
There are only 4 player switches involved, not counting the two prisoners who can't move. The first one is before anyone moves... :)
Filling up the three bathtubs is important. That way you can fill up the final two with the boxes that are in front of them. There's a little bounce move involved in filling up the tubs.
Always look for the item on the ice just before the corners. Never push anything immediately in front of you- unless it's one of the two wooden boxes.

thanks for the hints DG, i was ready to ask for help ( after about 100 goes of this level ... no joke ) i managed to get double barrel after about 20 when it hit me it was so obvious, but proper attire isnt a simple brain teaser its a brain torturer :( and it hurts, but im gonna keep trying.

Less than one hundred keystrokes.
No hurries, no tricks, no monsters, no way to get shot.

DiscGolfer, thanks so much for your spoiler -- would never had made it otherwise. Tried & tried & tried till I was "black & blue", but no dice. I think I got screwed up because wasn't sure if I should "stay in the kegs" or go back (if you know what I mean). Thanks again for letting me finish :!: :!:

Hi .. Your spoiler worked a treat - I promise faithfully I will practice though, would love to make it on my own.

Once again - stunning design and VERY clever !

Thanks

Kazza :) :)

Thanks DG - I still couldn't get there in spite of your first hints.
It's all done now (phew!)

Brilliant level design - you have a very devious mind. 8)
