New Level - (Adv) Coming to America TWO

Post by majic1 » Wed Jul 13, 2005 1:34 am

Here is Chapter Two of our Coming to America series. Our traveler has landed in America and spent the night at Stinky's. Now she is off to collect her lost baggage, check into her hotel and have a little fun in the sun!

We hope you have as much fun playing it as we had making it!

This uses models from Steve's (sfseaman) beach models. If you don't have these models already, I've included the zip file for them.

Just wanted you three to know that it's an ACE level yet again, but it's quite a hard challenge. Still working on it and will get back to you!

Majic, OG and Carolyn, this was a mega hard challenge for me! I have no idea how many times I had to restart. About midafternoon, I thought I had finally made it to the exit........... only to discover that I was there, but there was no way to get to it. :?  Tried a whole lot of things to get there, finally a  went off and I made it just now. I have no idea if I did it the way you all planned. Didn't use two things that you left behind. Stinky and Qookie are very tired!  GREAT fun, Thanks! :D

Yup - Trial and error I guess is correct. This is not really a hard, mind boggling level - just little mistakes you can make along the way. It wasn't made to be a brain teaser - it's just for fun; a story unfolding. Just a little adventure for all our Wonderland friends! :D

I spent most of my adult life on this level today, and I must say it is a
whopper! I finally managed to complete it, I think I could do the Kaboom
area with my eyes closed now (with the sound on, of course  )

An incredible level, in all aspects! The whole gang of you must have put
a great deal of thought and planning into making this one, to be as tough
as it was. Like you said majic1, not really a 'thinker', not really a 'puzzler',
but it's so easy to make mistakes along the way. And I made plenty of
them.

The toughest part for me was the very end, like Gen said, so miffed was
I the first time I finally made it to the end, only to find out that an
item (2 actually) were not what they appeared to be. Next time I arrived
at that cherished spot, I was prepared, the only way I knew how.

Top notch level, one of the best and most difficult overall levels to come
onto the forum in quite a while, IMHO. Thanks to all of you for your
hard work on this one!

Now it's time for CTA number 3 !!
