New Level for ann3120, Welcome to Texas!

Post by Loirae » Mon Sep 05, 2005 8:58 am

Ann, You you mentioned in the Indiana Rest Area thread, Everyting is bigger in Texas.

This is not a puzzle other than collecting coins and looking around. But it made me laugh while I put it together. If anyone want to take it and make it something harder, feel free.

To understand it, i highly recommend doing an Alt-X and zooming way out. Anyone not familiar with USA geography can get a map. :D :D

What a huge level, and what a huge State! I learned a lot about Texas playing this level - yes I thought Houston was the State Capital  - now I know!

Played it entirely from the Alt-X zoom to make sure I didn't miss anything. Thanks for the geography lesson Loirae! :D :D

That was great, Loirae. Thank you so much.

However, I'm glad I'm not a real Texan - I've never ridden a horse,
and probably won't be any time soon

We lived for many years in Houston, and you're right - it ain't the capital.

Did go to the "real Dallas" one time. Took the tour at Southfork and saw all the JR stuff.
I can assure you - the house and pool aren't nearly as big as they appear to be on the TV show.

Seems as though all this "bigger and better" stuff is all make believe
except when you come to drive across the state - then it's enormous.
Who would believe that Texarkana is closer to Chicago than it is to El Paso

Since it was so easy and informative, I think now maybe it should've been posted on the Kids Level. A whole plethora of educational Wonderlands! :D :D :D Math Village (Adding Village is already out there), Geography Land, Spelling Bee-hive. Of course, yo make it universal, I'll have to study up and get maps of other countries and their... provinces/districts/states.

And I'd have to add more hours to the clock cause creating Texas at 4 am did strange things to my brain.

Glad y'all liked it.

Loirae.

You could post it there as well! There may be people out there who only download the Kids Levels.
