New Level- Spare Change

Post by SharonM » Mon Jan 19, 2004 12:14 am

Hi all,
I am submitting this level for my 14 year old son. It's a pretty good level not too hard just fast. He put a bit of thought into this one, so let me know how you like it. :)

P.S. He has set this up as a 40 second level.

Fun level - but you can't see the yellow and red teleporters on the corners! Unless you know they're there, you're out of luck! I used the level editor to find them. But this is MOST LIKELY just me! I'll bet other people were able to discover them right away! (Some times I can't see what's right in front of my face!)

Although they're definitely hard to see, if you use the Shift-arrow keys to shift your perspective around, you can catch glimpses of them in certain perspectives. Harder to see would be the fake walls.

I used shift-arrow keys and I was STILL AS BLIND AS A BAT! Like I said, this is probably just ME! DUH!

Thanks for your responses. My son was pleased. I think he set up the teleporters that way on purpose. He's like that. I liked them and the fake walls myself. He says he is working on a sequel to this level, so expect more of the same. I hope Stinky survives it!

I really liked this one! Had no problem with the teleporters. I was glad to finally find that secret path past the electric tiles and spikes. That's a nice touch, since you can do it either way but it's sure a lot easier if you find the tunnel.

Thanks! He said it was set up that way. He wanted people to have to find the tunnel to complete it in time. 8) I was impressed with this one enough to post it on the board. I think he may have a future in designing video games, he plays enough of them! I can't wait to see the sequel he's planning to this level, . It should be a doozey.
