New Level - The Tribal Tree *

Post by Mark » Thu Jan 24, 2008 6:23 am

The title came to me in a dream. Though I've never heard of it before, it does exist.

Hi Mark - got my star too - and my lips are sealed Image

Stunning as ever and the title fitted the level to a dream or is it to a Tee (tree?) 8)

Many thanks :P

Hold on, it can't be that easy... Oh wait, it can.
Fun as always, Mark! I think I found a loophole or something it just can't be THAT easy.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Easy as WHAT! Gee whiz, what am I missing? I do all kinds of things with the boxes, but I can't get to that coin by the boomer. And I don't know how to get to the tramps. Will someone please help?

No loophole, it was suppose to be easy.

Here's a clue to those who need help:
There are two items hidden on this level. One of them is in plain view.

Well I cheated and looked in the Editor.

I saw the two hidden objects, neither of which are in plain view - unless there's another hidden object which I can't see.

I made one work for me, but the other one seems to be out of order.

Even if both objects worked then I still wouldn't have enough equipment to save Qookie and get the coin by the kaboom.

I'm a complete dunce!

I'm with Anne, I can get all the coins except the one by the boomer. The chomp found one hidden item for me and the only other one I see is the tramp under the mushroom which is what Liz must be talking about seeming out of order. I can't wait to see how this one plays out. You just love baffling us, don't you.

Thanks, Lillie. These glitches really throw me. Not the hidden objects, but the other that involves a friend. But...I keep learning and learning and learning.

Thanks, Mark, for your help, also.

Yup, thanks for the help Lillie, I was on the right track, but using the wrong box, after that I was lost. Like Anne I keep learning but I just can't remember. Thanks Mark

Thanks Lillie! Managed it this time. Why or how it works I just don't know, but Mark has always been the Master of Mystery.

Easy when you know how! :D :D

Forgot to mention that a 'tribal tree' is also considered to be a family tree or ancestral tree.

The hidden objects are two barrels:
One is submerged in the water behind the totem pole. You must look carefully to see it.
The other one is inside a solid wall for an explosive exit.

Solution

Post by Mark » Sat Jan 26, 2008 3:30 pm

SOLUTION:
Get the clock, push the box on the button, hop over the wall and collect the three coins. Push the box on the timer, circle around the ice to slide the box down and over the trampoline. Destroy the chomper with it, then slide it up to the coin. Collect the four coins around the totem pole and push the box up into the water. Push the box behind the tree to the right and the box in front of the tree left and down all the way. After Kaboom passes by, push the box right into the water and take two steps left. After Kaboom leaves the isle, get the coin on the break tile. Kaboom will destroy the box by the exit. Collect the last coin there, then jump down, up and down again. Qookie will be teleported by way of the magic tribal tree.
