New Level - Peague's Poser

Post by malcdelsol » Mon Sep 20, 2004 3:32 pm

Hi Wonderlanders,

No more large levels - so mind the cannons (scouges) and Peague will soon be home

Oh I know I'll figure it out -- I'm sure the solution is staring me in the face. . .

Oh the sadness of being over 50 ande watching your mental faculties drain away before your very eyes!

Great to have another level from you (I think).

This is certainly a thinking puzzle. Using what you know, you can do it; no tricks, fast fingers or hidden objects.

The size was perfect, as was the puzzle. 8)

Oh what a wonderfully deceptive level! I got it only with the kind help and hints of OGC (thank you!) Very interesting creative use of generator boxes.

HO HO! I figured it out! This does take some thinking, but for me, the majority of it was trial and error! I ACTUALLY got a GOLD STAR on one of Malc's levels!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!! :D

Hi Wonderlanders,

Pleased that several of you enjoyed completing this level

For anyone who may still need some help this is the solution:-

In the 3 trees in front of Peague's house are generators.
From left to right these are Wood-Box, Boulder and Prism.

To complete this level you must not activate either of the wood-box or prism generators or they will immediately block Peague's access to the Rainbow coins

1. Push the left prism down 1 and left 1 against the wall.

2. Push the right prism left and around the trees to push it in the water just right of the LEFT cannon.

3. Push the boulder left, up and left again to stop at the first prism mentioned in 1.

4. Push the boulder up into the water where you put the second prism in and IMMEDIATELY follow - accross the water - around the trees and push the center wood box right. Quickly step back left.

5. The boulder generator has started so wait for 3 boulders to pass Peague and then the generator will stop. The boulders have not only built your bridge but also cleared the remaining wood boxes.

6. Minding cannons and spikes Peague can now collect all of the Rainbow and Bonus coins and then exit

Note: By LEAVING a prism on the start side and pushing a wood box out of the path of the boulders both of these generators will not start-up as mentioned above.

I'm glad that I was able to figure it out before the spoiler--I just noticed it. The dead give away for me was when there was no way there could be enough boxes to get across the water--I knew something weird was going on. Good job! :)

malcdelsol,
I've played most of your levels and I am right proud on the few occasions that I complete one of them without your hints. I keep trying to put myself in your frame of mind but so far I haven't had success.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.
