A puzzle for the mind it is, then. :D

This is a good level, but I started thinking about where I saw your name before.

'Thrick or Threat' popped in my mind, and I saw that I did not have that level from you. Plus I can't seem to find it on the forums.

Could you please post the link?

Here u go Blink...

http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... =lemarquis

You can always search by Author's name and find all one's levels that way too... :D

Also attached... a pic from: The Riddles of the Sphinx

Just moved that ennoying sign so that it doesn't darken the level on the start

Great puzzle as always. It took me a long time but now I finally could do only the first part with the yellow spheres and steelboxes. Be back later (maybe) :)

Thx Marinus! Congrats on the first part! It's one of those puzzles that is not hard to solve once you know how but is intricate to solve. The second part is similar.. No glitch... just pure logic!

Good luck! ;)

Finally I finished this level. The riddles of the spheres are solved. It was a great challenge, and I enjoyed it, but I still think you'd better make some easier levels. :)

There was happening a strange thing though. When the situation was exactly the same, two different things happened, depending on what I did before. Maybe tomorrow I'll PM you what I did, what happened and such. Anyway thanks for the fun! :D

You got me curious... I wonder what you did to get 2 different behaviors... please send me a pm..

The intended solution never get any strange behaviors... pretty straight forward.. once you know it of course... eheh

Congrats Marinus being the first one to solve it! :D

Wow. Only one person has solved it. I'd ask for help, but I'll try to figure this one out in the next couple of days.

It is a very hard one - so far I got the first part and I'll keep working on the second.

Finally!!! I made it, but it was one of the hardest levels I ever did.

BTW, I also got that strange behaviour which Marinus described:
in the same situation, two spheres colliding with each other, sometimes one survives and sometimes both are destroyed. This is consistent depending on seemingly "unrelated" objects.

I think I have a shadow of an idea but I'm not sure, it has a hole in it.

Le Marquis asked me to post a walkthrough. Here it is:

Part 1: yellow spheres

1. Go D through TP. Quickly 2U, 2R. (Pushing sphere, and be at the right of it. Shadow pushes steelbox) Walk D through TP, push steel U.

2. Push sphere R in water, quickly push steel to where sphere was. Just before other sphere arrives, step L. Push steel 1R
(blocking Shadow)

3. Get coin bottom-left, slide and jump R. Push sphere L over tramp. Push steel also L, and quickly slide R, (through TP) and step U. (before steel)

4. Push upper sphere U and quickly go RDR. (upper steel in water) Go D through TP and push steel U on icecurves.

5. Go D,R,L and D through TP.
(Shadow pushes sphere L) Walk LD and back. (To get Shadow out of the way)

6. Push sphere U, step R, and with the right timing push steel 2D and step L.

7. Steel R in water, sphere D and R in water, and with the right timing step L.
(avoiding last sphere)

8. Go bottom-left where coin was. (Shadow gets coin on yellow button) Step R and D on ice. (Shadow puts flame out)

9. Push sphere R on yellow. Push cannon and barrel U over tramp and follow.
Part 2: blue spheres
10. Get coin left-below generator. Push sphere R and quickly push it U. (starts generator)

11. Sphere L. Prism L and D. Sphere U (and step out of the way. Other spheres goes in water)

12. With right timing prism R and step D. Spheres ULULD. (See screenshot) Spheres L (middle and lower spheres destroy each other. Upper one remains)

13. Prism 2U,L,U. Sphere U. Prism L,3D,R. Sphere L. Prism 2U (Sphere below top-left icecurve, prism right of sphere)

14. Push sphere U and quickly prism U. Sphere U in water and quickly prism L,2D (before new spheres come)

15. Prism D,2R. (above sign) Get coin. Spheres L. Prism D. (on sign) Sphere L and stand right of sign. Sphere U and exit.
The strange thing I was talking about:
11. Prism D. Sphere L and U. Other sphere (from the left) U again.

Prism L. Sphere from the right U in water.

Prism R. Spheres RULU LD

Now the situation looks exactly the same as on the screenshot. But when I push the spheres L, the upper spheres be destroyed, and the lower one remains. So I can't finish the level.

Marquis' intended way ...
... to destroy the sphere below the generator:

10. Push sphere R and quickly push it U. (starts generator)

Prism D. Sphere L
Sphere U (Loof quickly D)
Sphere R (wait until sphere hits coin)
Prism U
Sphere U (Loof quickly D). Loof takes coin
Prism DLU
Sphere L, Quickly prism D (Sphere trapped)
Sphere L when sphere on its way down (2 spheres destroyed)
Prism R
Sphere D
Prism UULU
Sphere U
